Pros:

The property is beautiful, with lots of plans and flowers. It is not exactly in San Juan, but a little bit outside. It is a 10 minute walk to the town and has its own dock so it is not a problem.

Cons:

It was very cold in my room, especially because the bathroom is open to the outside. This is another hotel where they won’t charge you through booking and will charge you there.

Prima, maar teleurstellend
Pros:

Mooi uitzicht op de bergen en het meer. De eigen pier waar bootjes kunnen komen was ook handig. Ontbijt was prima. De tuin met planten is erg mooi.

Cons:

De kamers die je online ziet lijken totaal niet op de kamer die we hebben gekregen, dit was een grote teleurstelling. Ik snap dat er soms afwijkingen kunnen zijn, maar deze kamer en het gebouw waar in we zaten was nog in aanbouw. Het voelde echt alsof we opgelicht werden en ook bizar dat hier dezelfde prijs voor wordt gerekend als de normale kamers die je online ziet.

Ook kregen we eerst een kamer zonder balkon, terwijl we dit er bij hadden geboekt en bij de faciliteiten stond. Eerst was het antwoord dat dit niet zo was, erg vervelend.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit traumhaften Blick.
Pros:

Der Blick auf den See ist spektakulär. Allerdings muss man sich auf viele Treppen einstellen. Der Ausblick gleicht die Anstrengung wieder aus.
San Juan ist fußläufig erreichbar, ohne dass die Hauptstraße genutzt werden müsste.
Es gibt einen privaten Bootsanleger und die Rezeption kann ein Boot rufen mit dem die verschiedenen Orte dann angefahren werden.

Cons:

Die Zimmer lassen einiges an Lärm ein und die Fahrzeuge auf der Hauptstraße hupen auch gerne nachts. Das war etwas störend, aber wir konnten dennoch gut schlafen.

We loved the setting and dealt with the stairs
Pros:

Brightly coloured, lots of stone, and especially all the greenery & flowers combined with the fabulous view. Our room was at the front where we shared the big balcony with 3 other rooms — hammock, table, chairs, and rarely saw the other guests who were quiet, friendly and respectful.

Cons:

All the stairs for both the building and the grounds. Some with reliable railings and some not. But we’re almost 80 and our knees are creaky and our balance & strength not what they used to be. If we return, we’ll stay here again. We take it slow & careful, and after that it’s all about attitude! We loved the setting.

Très mitigé
Pros:

La vue !! De loin le point fort de l'hôtel.
Le restaurant était également ok.

Cons:

La chambre était moins bien qu'en photo. Elle est très dégradée, le peu de déco est là pour cacher la misère. Il y a des traces de chaussures sur les murs, la douche n'est pas chaude...
Autre point assez négatif c'est que l'hôtel s'étend mais du coup il y a énormément de travaux et ça gâche pas mal l'expérience notamment visuelle car pour accéder à la chambre il faut traverser un chantier.
Dommage qu'ils ne finissent pas les chambres actuelles avant d'en lancer de nouvelles.

Excellent rapport qualité /prix et le positionnement de l'hôtel est parfait.
Pros:

Le meilleur endroit pour réserver, juste à 1 min. à pied, à l'Extérieur du bruit. Le terrain est immense pour se promener et profiter à l'extérieur. L'aménagement paysager est vraiment jolie.
On peut faire du kayak gratuitement.
Petit déjeuner offert parmi 4 choix. : très bien !
à 600 m de San Pedro à Pied en passant par le haut de l'hôtel et même distance pour le village de San Juan : Le meilleur des deux mondes.

Cons:

Les chambres sont simples, mais le restant du complexe est magnifique. Je recommande à 100%.
Comme partout au Guatemala, apporter des bouchons pour les oreilles car les chiens jappent toutes les nuits.

We quite enjoyed the premises, staff and location.
Pros:

The room was very spacious with a fantastic view of the bay and village of San Juan. The breakfast was wonderfully tasty. The staff were helpful and always smiling.

Cons:

We did NOT enjoy the buses sounding their horns at 1:30am AND 3am. They truly destroyed the peace and quiet of the tranquil eco hotel. What a major disappointment.

fantastic views over the lake, esp from glorious balcony, also from restaurant. lovely space, steps up the hillside, places to sit (as long as no accessibility issues). relaxed atmosphere

no hot water in shower, wifi doesnt reach rooms, more than half of the restaurant menu unavailable leaving límited options. all tolerable but price felt steep for what you get
