My favorite part about the Homewood Suites is the staff. Ami and David at the front desk greeted me with such a warm welcome that immediately made me feel comfortable there. The rooms are clean and the staff did a great job of making sure the trash was taken out everyday and always had clean towels and small amenities stocked.
It was such a joy to visit! The staff were so helpful and the area was exceptionally clean. Definitely would return with my husband again!
We stayed for one night. Check in was easy and our room was ready when we arrived. The property is located in a fairly new shopping, dining, residential area that is very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical for Homewood. There's a decent fitness center but it's a little hard to find within the fairly large facility. The staff member on duty was very helpful.
I had two issues with the property. The first, and most significant, is the lack of adequate parking. There are 3 hotels within close proximity that share parking. There just isn't enough. We were lucky that someone was leaving when we returned from dinner as the lot was otherwise full. This problem is hard to fix. The second is that the carpet in the hallways on the first level is dirty. It's easy to see that it needs to be cleaned. This is an easy fix.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The pull out couch had rips and tears in the arm.We had to go and the retrieve the blankets from the front desk ourselves.They didnt provide any pillows so we had to share from the bed. The tub was perpetually wet and my shower steam set off the smoke alarm at 8am. And we were only provided 2 bath cloths in a suite that sleeps 3 to 4

Friendly atmosphere
I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip and, unfortunately, had an overall unpleasant experience due to multiple issues with cleanliness and housekeeping.
To begin on a positive note, the room itself was quite spacious, and I want to commend the staff for their genuinely friendly and polite demeanor. Every team member I interacted with was courteous, but most friendly were the breakfast staff.
That said, the condition and cleanliness of the room—particularly the bathroom—were unacceptable. Upon check-in, I discovered the bathroom walls and door were extremely dirty, with visible splatters that resembled soda or worse. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers, which are large 15oz containers, were both completely empty. Additionally, the light in the shower was non-functional.
I immediately contacted the front desk and was told housekeeping would address the issues the following day. However, when I returned after a full day of work, nothing had been cleaned. The bathroom remained exactly as I had left it, and it appeared that the area behind the bathroom door had not been touched in some time.
I called again, and this time, either a manager or a lead housekeeper came to clean the bathroom. While I appreciated the effort, the cleaning was done with gloves on—and unfortunately, after wiping down visibly dirty areas, the staff member opened and closed the main room door without removing or changing gloves. This action effectively transferred the same contaminants to the room's entrance handle.
Other issues included a near-empty toilet paper roll with no replacement provided, a visibly stained and unsanitary mattress that was exposed when the bedsheet shifted at night, and a broken desk chair with a missing arm—something I only discovered when attempting to push it back under the desk.
I reported all of this to the front desk during checkout, including showing photographic evidence, and was assured that someone from management would follow up. Several weeks have passed, and I have not received any communication or acknowledgment.
While I wanted to provide the hotel an opportunity to respond privately before posting this review, the lack of follow-up has left me no choice but to share my experience publicly. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvements in housekeeping protocols and overall room maintenance, as the customer service and room potential are currently being completely overshadowed by avoidable cleanliness issues.
We just checked in an hour ago and all I can say is, what a DUMP! It smells. It’s filthy. And it is falling apart, literally. The handrail in the elevator fell off when we were in it. 3 of the 4 lampshade in our room are falling off. The pillows are nothing but lumpy clumps of foam. Bed is hard as a rock. Sheets are dirty. Smells like puke and urinal cake in our room. Truly the worst place I’ve stayed in a very long time. Will not return.
Good variety of food to choose from
Location was good. The hotel itself is pretty gross. I stay in a lot of hiltons for work and this was pretty bad. Floors were gross, nothing was clean. Cigarette holes in the top comforter on the bed. The A/C unit squeaked all night. The breakfast was bad. First time I’ve said “this should’ve been better” about a Hilton property. Our room was supposed to be cleaned every other day. That didn’t happen even when we requested it.
The room
When elderly handicapp people request room near elevator , stating, we cannot walk far, they really need to LISTEN. instead we got a room as far away as possible and then told we could take a shortcut past swimming pool , OUTSIDE, to get to back of building where room was. keep in mind pushing luggage cart and walking with a cane. we are 86 and 72 yrs. old.
Manager McKayla Stapleton at the front desk was an absolute amazing help! I had some questions about my stay and her knowledge of operations was great. She gave me her business card in case of further inquiries. Always a smile in the lobby! All other front desk employees were equally as helpful, friendly and readily available!!
Overall my stay was good.. I didn’t like the fact that my room wasn’t ready at my check in time.. We settled into our room an hour and a half later!! 3/29-3/30/2025
