We recently stayed at Kinock Hotel Gyeongju during our visit to the beautiful city of Gyeongju.
The hotel is located slightly outside the main tourist areas and historical sites, so reaching some attractions requires a short drive or taxi ride. However, the hotel itself is pleasant and very welcoming, especially for guests traveling with pets, as all rooms are equipped to accommodate our four-legged friends.
The reception was simple, efficient, and friendly.
The rooms are spacious, quiet, and well equipped, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing after a day of exploring the city.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was a major disappointment and clearly not at the level one would expect from an otherwise nice hotel. Guests are asked to choose a drink that is served in a paper cup, accompanied by two croissants used as a sort of ham and cheese sandwich. The quality was honestly quite poor.
In fact, on our second morning we decided to skip the hotel breakfast entirely and go elsewhere to buy our own. It’s a pity because the hotel has many good qualities, but the breakfast experience really needs to be reconsidered.
Overall, a comfortable stay, but with significant room for improvement regarding breakfast.

Staff very helpful, yet strictly following rules.
I really appreciate the planners and owners for making it possible for guests with large dogs to enjoy a comfortable stay here. The pet park, the suite, and the cafeteria were all great.
The facilities and the suite were truly nice. However, the overall maintenance seemed a bit lacking. There was a careless group letting their dog off-leash in a shared public area—not even the designated pet playground—and no one was there to address it. The suite also had some damaged areas that appeared to have been left unattended.
It's a spectacular hotel for families and pets. The spaces are very nice and clean. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I would return a thousand times.
The hotel is beautiful, with modern, nordic-inspired design and amazing park. We even regretted our dog was not travelling with us as she would be delighted to stay in such a pet-friendly place :). Attention to details is stunning there.
This is in general a huge problem in Korea to find meat-free food and we had the same problem here. Even in dishes in which one does not suspect meat might be added, it's there... It would be great if the menu clearly stated that a dish contains meat/dairy. If there is a pita described as " with tomato and arugula" we really do not suspect sausage in it ... Please, take this into account. Even a modest croissant contained ham.
