Fabulous place, fabulous staff, fabulous welcome
Pros:

The staff were really helpful and friendly, really nice breakfast. Great welcome with a glass of wine. Nice room and the grounds were lovely to sit and relax in. Staff also really helpful with bicycle hire and restaurant recommendations

Our stay far exceeded our expectations in every way and Chacras de Coria is a fantastic location.
Pros:

Posada el Encuentro is a fantastic boutique hotel to stay at on a visit to Mendoza. It is easy to access with Uber from the airport, and also quick and easy to visit downtown Mendoza using Uber. The location is very peaceful with tree-lined streets and an easy walk to the beautiful main plaza of Chacras de Coria and numerous restaurants. There are also quite a few bodegas within walking or biking distances, and faster access to the Andes from this side of Mendoza. The staff is amazing…so kind, welcoming, attentive, and helpful to plan and arrange tours and activities. The breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of foods that would meet any dietary needs. The staff was so attentive and kind as to prepare the breakfast early if necessary to accommodate an early tour or departure time. I can not say enough good things about Posada el Encuentro or recommend highly enough, it was a fabulous stay!

Beautiful setting in the wine country of Mendoza.
Pros:

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood yet very conveniently located. You could walk to restaurants or easily call uber to go anywhere. It felt extremely safe.

Cons:

There was a wine cellar and while you could purchase bottles of wine, unfortunately, they do not offer wine tasting. It would have been an extra perk. Some reviews stated that the owner invited them into his wine celler to sample but that was not the case while we were there.

A super friendly family run hotel
Pros:

It’s a small family run hotel with super friendly staff. They were so relaxed and helpful, and spoke excellent English. We arrived at 8am after an overnight bus trip with very little sleep and they made us feel so welcome. They said to help ourselves to breakfast and that they would try and get our room ready early- which they did. They gave us good recommendations for where to eat and what local wineries to visit. When we asked about a bank to get cash from, they told us that it was a public holiday that day and the next but they were happy to lend us some cash to tide us over. And then when we asked for a late check out because of getting a bus in the evening, they said that was fine and no charge.
The breakfast was very good with a wide range of fresh fruit as well as cereal, toast, scrambled eggs and pastries. The pool is small but a nice bonus.

A sweet little oasis in Chacras
Pros:

We wanted something not too far from our scheduled tastings and this fit the bill. We didn’t have to go more than 30 minutes by car. Also, it is easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants for lunch or dinner. We never went out for breakfast, as it was so nice there…..eggs, lots of fresh bread and fruit, yogurt, etc.
Housekeeping cleaned our room every morning and were attentive to our needs, especially Deborah who checked to be sure we had enough things planned. We could park our car inside a walled area. There was a nice size pool, but really too cold for us to use it. They also have their own wine, but we didn’t try it, unfortunately - we were frankly “wined out!” It was so economical, I would absolutely return there again.

Perfect Posada!
Pros:

Great location with the most friendly and welcoming staff - family run - all charming and helpful especially Debra. Lovely gardens with pool - variety of quiet areas to sit. Breakfasts excellent - lots of fresh fruit and amazing scrabbled eggs! Easy walking distance to wide variety of restaurants. Can highly recommend.

Pros:

Daniela an der Rezeption ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir durften unsere Esswaren in den Hotelkühlschrank stellen. Die Anlage ist hübsch und ruhig. Frühstücksbuffet mit Früchten, nicht nur Süsskram.

Cons:

Die Duschbrause muss dringend entkalkt werden.

An idyllic stay in Mendoza
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay in this little slice of paradise in Mendoza. The pousada is perfectly located in the quaint town of Chacras de Coria (which we much preferred to the centre of Mendoza!) with some of the best restaurants we had been to in Argentina. The accommodation itself is also beautiful- very clean, spacious, cozy and with a great pool surrounded by trees to start and end your days.

We had some of the best wine & food tastings in the region just a short walk from the pousada. And on our last days our hosts were kind enough to let us enjoy the pool for a few extra hours! Everything was perfect.

Cons:

Nothing! I just wish we had stayed longer!

Trip to Chacras de Coria
Pros:

We had a gorgeous stay here. It was the perfect place to relax after lots of walking in BA. The pool was gorgeous and the location was super convenient. It's a sleepy town but perfect for what we wanted - somewhere to chill while also being able to explore the region. We did an amazing UCO valley tour with Ampora wine tours also. Would highly recommend!

Cons:

An espresso machine would really enhance the breakfast experience along with some other egg and yogurt choices.

Couldn’t recommend this place anymore!
Pros:

Beautiful small family fun hotel. We loved staying here - felt like an oasis - well kept gardens with pool! Very comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was delicious (and they even opened it up early for us because we were leaving at 8). Staff were so helpful and friendly.

It’s in a great location - about 30 minutes drive from the airport, and in walking distance to lots of wineries and restaurants.

Cons:

Honestly nothing!
