המלון עצמו נעים ומטופח, אך חשוב לדעת שארוחות הבוקר והערב מבוססות כמעט לחלוטין על תפריט יפני מקומי, ללא אפשרות לארוחת בוקר מערבית. לצערנו לא מצאנו כמעט מנות שהתאימו עבורנו לאכילה, ולכן פנינו למלון בבקשה לבטל את ארוחות הבוקר, אך בקשתנו לא התקבלה.

יחד עם זאת, עבור אורחים שאוהבים אוכל יפני מסורתי, ייתכן שארוחת הבוקר תהיה חוויה טובה מאוד. הארוחה מוגשת בצורה אסתטית ומרשימה מאוד, עם השקעה רבה בהגשה ובנראות.

Pros:

Très bel établissement avec collations gratuites et saké en formule 5 à 7. Nous avons adoré la formule repas. Les onsens étaient très agréables.

Cons:

Dispendieux, mais on paie pour l’emplacement et le service.

Pros:

We had an amazing time at Miyama Ouan. All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room itself was large and comfortable, the hot spring bath was amazing. The hotel site was lovely and there were lots of nice touches (e.g. marshmallows to roast over fire pit). The onsens were great and we were always able to use one of the private ones without waiting. Close to bus terminal and easy to navigate for day trip to Kamikochi and onward travel to Matsumoto. We came away from our stay feeling extremely relaxed and wanting to return to Miyama Ouan again in the future!

Großartiger Aufenthalt!!
Pros:

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt! Das Essen ist super lecker! Die Onsen sind großartig! Es gibt viele Extras im Hotel: Eis, Sake, Marshmallows grillen am Feuer, Kaffee… erstaunlich kinderfreundlich für ein Spa Hotel. Es gab Kimonos und traditionelle Hausanzüge sogar für Kinder.

A relaxing experience in a lovely setting
Pros:

A lovely experience in a great setting. We enjoyed the traditional meals, wearing the clothing provided and the private onsen in our bathroom. We were able to control the temperature as 42 degrees in the public onsen was too hot for us!

Cons:

Nothing. But don’t come here expecting your dietary preferences to be catered for. You get what you are given!

Magnifique hôtel mais prix un peu excessif
Pros:

Nous avions une très belle chambre avec onsen sur la terrasse. Elle était vraiment très agréable. Nous avons eu même deux bouteilles de vin offertes.

Cons:

Je trouve que la chambre était vraiment très cher pour le service proposé… Par exemple nous avions consommé deux verres de vin dans notre chambre et le lendemain après le ménage, la vaisselle n’avait même pas été faite ! L’onsen public est un peu décevant.

Époustouflant
Pros:

L’expérience a été exceptionnelle. L’accueil très agréable, la chambre époustouflante et le onsen privatif au top. On a passé une nuit dans cet hôtel et cela a été magique pour nous. Un moment hors du temps. L’hôtel est juste à côté de la vallée de kamikochi l’expérience vaut vraiment le détour.
