Good location near the base of Mt. Asahidake. Somewhat difficult to get to if you don't have a car. Took the bus which took about 1.5 hours from Asahikawa.
Very attentive service by staff. Room was very comfortable. Hotel has private onsen facilities for individuals who aren't comfortable with public onsen or who have tattoos.
There was Kaiseki dinner options of either Japanese or French cuisine. Also very nice breakfast available. These were an additional cost of approx 13,000 yen.
They also had free wine tasting in the evening, free ramen later, free ice cream bars at onsen.
Family games were available for use.
Convenience store and souvenir shopping.
The public onsen had both inside and outside pools.
Great views of mountain from the hotel.
Would have preferred in Booking.com provided a all inclusive price option.
Friendly staff, good environment n delicious food
The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable beyond my expectation. The price was reasonable and the private onsens Easy to use and really enjoyable. There are many small touches to help you enjoy your stay while still be discreet.
Contrary to other Ryokan we have been in Japan so far (and we have been in a few!) the facility rules were simple and few so it was really easier to relax and enjoy our stay.
Also the room was really cosy and the bed comfortable. The pillows are soft and fluffy.
It is the type of hotel where you would like to just spend time without even going out.
Also, when we arrived it was snowing beautifully :)
If the price doesn't go up I would like to go back with my extended family!
I should have booked 2 nights instead of only one :)
Would be rated absolute 10 if it wasn't for the music in the hallways.
The bed is exquisite - duvet, softness, warmth... The whole room gives cozy vibes. Pijamas are soft as a cloud.
The private onsens are incredible. I used 2 of them and the one outside is unbelievable.
Breakfast was abundant and 10 stars but the absolute winner was the dinner - worth it's money. 7-courses (I took French) and the steak was unlike anything I've tasted before.
The only reason I'm not giving 10* rating is the music in the hallways. It only stops playing at 23:00 (!? Some people go to sleep earlier than that! And the speaker was just outside my room) and it starts playing at 6:00am (?!?!). This literally ruined my sleep. I went to ask at the reception about it if that can turn the volume down or turn it off just this one night, but nope.
Velmi bohatá a skvělá snídaně a večeře naprostý zážitek.

Perfektní
