This Hotel made our stay in Madrid the most memorable of all our visits to this beautiful city.
The staff , the beeakfast chefs and hosts were so friendly. It felt we were staying with family.
The location was historic and the center of entertainment but without the tourist traffic.
The surrounding bars and restaurants were authentic but not at tourist trap prices. We have already told our friends and family they must stay at the Posada del leon to enjoy the fabulous experience we had.

Bon emplacement, proche de plusieurs points d’intérêts. Le lit plutôt confortable et la chambre bien équipée dans l’ensemble.
L’insonorisation est perfectible. Le matin on est réveillé par le bruit de la préparation du petit déjeuner et le nettoyage.
The location was fantastic. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. You could also easily walk to Plaza Mayor and Puerto del Sol from there.
The staff were very attentive. We wanted a king bed rather than a queen and they provided one at check-in at no extra charge.
The air conditioning in our room worked very well and that was really important given how hot it was there in August.
The breakfast, which cost €15 per person, was very good. There were eggs, bacon, ham, bread, cheese, yogurt, salami, fruit and pastries to choose from. Coffee and fresh orange juice was also available.
We liked everything! We will be back.
