The accommodations and staff were so friendly and helpful and their dinners were outstanding
Pros:

Quaint property with excellent staff and owners. Views from our room of the bay, Procida, Castle were outstanding.

Cons:

It is not easy to walk to the property from downtown though we made that journey 2 times during our stay.

Soggiorno da sogno, che rimarrà scolpito nella memoria. Appena abbiamo lasciato vagare lo sguardo sul panorama, che abbraccia il mare e il castello di Ischia, abbiamo intuito che non sarebbe stata una vacanza come le altre. Lo staff cordiale e attento ad ogni piccola necessità, la squisita gentilezza della signora Anna, le colazioni con la vista sul mare, la luna rossa osservata dalla terrazza ci hanno regalato giorni davvero felici. P.s. non abbiamo riscontrato alcun problema con il wi-fi

Pros:

If you’re looking for paradise on Earth, please look no further. Hotel villa Ireos is the little, family run, Mediterranean style gem you’re looking for. Rooms have an antique charm and the view on the Vesuvius’ gulf is simply breath taking. They’re pet friendly.
Hotel’s restaurant on the terrace is very good and everyone is happy to suggest you.
Continental breakfast very well assorted, it is served everyday on their beautiful terrace.

Cons:

It’s uphill over the main harbor, if you’re not willing to trek for 20 minutes you definitely need a car/scooter/bus to get there. They have their own parking lot.

Coffees/ tea in the room would be very much appreciated

This is on me, but the location was a bit too remote for my taste. Bus service was good but outside of the hotel there wasn't much around there.
