Conveniently located hotel
Pros:

Although there might be hotels with nicer surroundings, this was a great choice if travelling by train and with luggage. You come out of the station and there it is. The concierge was super friendly and helpful, as were most of the staff. As others have said the rooms are comfortable but oddly designed. The bathroom is unnecessarily open plan. We went on to another hotel with a similar set up but there they had added sliding doors. In Hiroshima, there was none of that but as I’d flagged it as a concern ahead of time, the stsff provided screening in the room. All in all a convenient and comfortable hotel.

Pros:

Everything, except check out (unnecessary wait as all had been paid upfront). Great room with a view, spacious, modern. All sorts of amenities (getting a rare feat in Japan). Very nice staff. Breakfast. Walking distance to station and restaurants. Comfy bed.

Sehr In die Jahre gekommen
Pros:

Lage gut und nahe am Bahnhof.

Cons:

Unserer Gepäck wurde schon auf das Zimmer gebracht, weil wir erst später einchecken konnten. Leider wurde dabei die Tür nicht geschlossen, so dass jeder das Zimmer hätte betreten können. Restaurant stark überlaufen.
