Friendly staff. The property is conveniently located but the property is dated, our tub wouldn’t drain properly, hair dryer shorted out the outlet, keys quit working multiple times during our two nights stay

I had booked two rooms, one for me and one for my sister and her husband. The hotel was supposed to be smoke free but the 3rd floor, where we stayed was still smelling like smoke. My sister found blood on one of the pillows and the sheets. I had a stain of water leak just above the head of my bed. The bathroom shower curtain had stains of black mold. My sister changed rooms but had to check 3 other rooms before she found one that she was ok staying in. One of the rooms the AC would not come on. Mine I had to put down to 60 degrees for it to come on and was pretty loud. Also, windows don't protect much from the noise of the busy street.

Con: Wifi was spotty. The hot & cold water were backward on the sink. The room could've used a deep cleaning, & there was a used condom stuck on the ceiling. The bath tub was in bad shape & needed to be refinished. The room & hallway smelled musty. There was not a dresser nor any hangers in the closet. The toilet didn't flush properly. There was no soap for the sink--only lotion. The sink was inside the bathroom, which made it difficult for 3 adults to get ready.
Pro: The hotel has a nice elevator. The bathroom had a nice vanity mirror. The continental breakfast was fairly extensive, & the attendant was friendly. The staff was friendly & helpful.

Hey convenient

How it was in an area with not much going on but we needed the stay for Prisma health hospital. Only 5 mins away

Paid extra for certain room only for it not to be compatible. Bathtub was dirty so I skipped a bath. Air vents were disgusting along with the curtains. Missing amenities that were in the description.

Alot of homeless in the back of the building.

Hotel is a little run down but it did the trick. Bed was good. Security could be an issue if you're worried about that. Latch on door to prevent it from being opened does not work.
And rear door at back of parking lot is unlocked at all times...very easy for anyone to get into your room. Laundry facilities are not working.

The building needs a complete redo. Paint pealing, carpet old and buckling. Room with mold in the bathroom and paint job awful. Carpet on entrance to room with terrible smell. The only positives were the staff were polite and the bed comfortable.

The property is old but complies all basics. The shower water was good, drain was good, they provided shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and body lotion. There is coin laundry on site, bending machine for snacks, and free breakfast even very basic but still has Waffle maker. It is not fancy at all. HOWEVER, the environment was very friendly and the front desk staffs were really nice. If you are looking for a fancy place, this may not be the one. However, I felt safe and family like comfortableness from the staff. When I needed water fountain, the front desk turned on the soda machine so I could get water. There is 24 hours coffee and creamer available. I could walk to several restaurant, Harris Teeter to pick up fruits, walked to my pilates class. There are several restaurants, bank, stores in 10-15 minutes walking distance. And this is the only hotel in that area. It is more residential area and most of hotels are in the newly developed town side. This is also within 15-30 minutes walking distance to the USC Medical school. Very convenient. Teh elevator was solid. They may need some cosmetic renovation for improvement. Overall, I appreciated the place.

The hotel had a bad smell and I itched the entire time we were there I am assuming from the laundry detergent they used. I was charged a $50 REFUNDABLE fee but have still yet not been credited it back. I do not recommend this particular hotel

There were drunk people stumbling around our hotel parking lot on a Monday night. Broken beer bottles in the parking spots. Odd odors. But the staff was super friendly!!

For the price I paid I was pleasantly supposed by how nice the room was. Definitely worth staying here.

We spent 3 nights. Never saw house keeping. My room key had to reprogrammed each morning because it was deactivated.
Often smelled marijuana in the halls. Morning breakfast left a lot to be desired. Coffee was like sludge.
The bright side, the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
