Pros:

Great included breakfast. Spacious room with beautiful bathroom. Beds were comfortable amazing private porch with the best hammock . Staff were friendly and helpful. Great on site guided tour included. Great night hike(for extra cost) . Hot springs were great

Cons:

That I had to leave 😂 I would have liked to see some local food options on the menue at the restaurants and some salad options .

Awesome place 🥰
Pros:

Absolutely worth every penny, this place was fantastic. The staff were amazing and made the whole experience even better. We saw loads of frogs, spiders and other animals on the night tour, spent hours relaxing in the hot springs, and even braved the big slide into the river. To top it off, we saw our first sloth! Huge thanks to Bryan for all the helpful tips about Quepos

Beautiful hotel with hot springs experience
Pros:

- Absolutely beautiful location.
- Excellent and friendly service from all members of the staff.
- Jungle slide was a hit with the kids!
- Hot springs were an amazing experience.
- Spotlessly clean everywhere.

Cons:

- The door to our bathroom had a gap underneath it so at night if you put the light on the room filled with bugs! We had to roll up a towel and put it there to stop it happening.
- Dinner in the main restaurant was disappointing and overpriced (poolside snacks and the bar next to the hot springs had excellent food!).
- Although the children enjoyed the night walk I think it was a little overpriced for what you got, compared to other tours we have been on.

An unforgettable experience!
Pros:

Had an amazing 5 nights here. Beautiful, calm location, got to see monkeys, toucans, sloths, frogs and an iguana at the swimming pool. The staff were always so helpful. Fabien was always really quick and responsive to any requests and helped us with all our excursions. The kids loved the hot tubs and the springs and a lot of the time it was just us there or at the pool so really felt far away from it all!

Ruben took us on two tours and was a fantastic tour guide both in and out the hotel. We stayed and ate at the restaurants and the staff were amazing. They did a special kids menu and while a bit more expensive we had some good meals and wanted to keep it easier than driving to La Fortuna.

Cons:

It is remote but that’s part of the pleasure!

The best in the business for a rainforest experience.
Pros:

Everything, the staff are the best and friendliest people, they talk amongst each other about the guests so even when it's your first time seeing them they already know you. They stay informed over what activities you're doing and are just flat out the best in the business. Place is gorgeous by far the best place we stayed at. Price is expensive but compared to it's competition they are the best for the price. If I could do my trip all over again I would have booked this place for every night. Honestly the best.

Cons:

There are no cons to this place if you can afford it.

Fantastic resort if you want a bubble to relax in.
Pros:

The resort is gorgeous.
The room was fantastic and the bathroom was amazing.
Breakfast was lovely.
Horse riding was very good as it was about 2 hours of actual riding.
We walked around the main paths at night and found plenty of frogs/toads/snakes.
Easy to get back out onto the 702 tourist road for day trips if you have a car.
Hot springs are nice and well presented.

Cons:

The restaurant and sports bar was very expensive, we drove out to chachagua and ate at a few different soda's for about 1/4 of the price.
The breakfast staff were hit or miss in attention. Some days we'd get great service other days you'd have to flag someone down to get more coffee, never more than about 10 tables so not busy.
The main pool by the restaurant was very tired looking for a luxury resort. Needs to be refurbished.
The bedroom could use a ceiling fan to replace one of the sets of lights, for those who struggle with aircon.

We had a wonderful stay and adventure at Chachagua Resort. Would recommend.
Pros:

After a long travel day, our group of 8 was enthusiastically greeted and well taken care of upon arrival. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Check in went well and we were assisted to our rooms and with our luggage. The entire resort was clean, well laid out and so beautiful with all of the plants and foliage. Totally felt as if we were in a rainforest, because we were. The kids utilized the regular pool which was a pretty area and clean with nice lounge chairs. The hot springs were awesome. Our entire group used them a lot. Even the 4 and 5 year old were welcomed in the hot pools. Very close to our rainforest bungalows and not crowded. Again surrounded by the rainforest. The young adults and kids also utilized the slide into the river and the slide into the small pool. So fun. Morpho bar and restaurant was right at the hot springs and the bar service was excellent. The staff were efficient and brought our drinks right to us. We enjoyed the appetizers the best at this restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was convenient and so delicious. And again the staff was very attentive and friendly. The kitchen also made a to go breakfast for 2 of our travelers who had an early tour. The food overall was good to very good, with a few items not being to our taste. But would not consider this a negative by no means. The atmosphere of the dining options was also so nice. Open air and beautiful. Our rooms were an appropriate size for 4 guests each. Comfortable beds, AC, very clean, large bathroom, great shower, and a mini bar. Also enjoyed the outdoor patio with the seating, table and hammock. Had umbrellas in our room and throughout the property for use.. Saw some birds and animals from the deck. Surrounded by plants. I used the complimentary yoga class and we hiked on the property. Off the beaten path and quiet. But near enough to activities. Overall, I would recommend this resort. The staff was attentive, accommodating, smiling, helpful, pleasant.

Cons:

As mentioned above, a FEW of the food options could have been better, but overall I enjoyed it. I was appreciative that I did not have to cook! I did not enjoy the bloody Mary's from the Morpho bar ( I should have tried them at the Colibri bar). But, we are from Wisconsin where bloody Mary's are very good and filled with a variety of snack foods in the drink (almost a meal). The Margaritas were good though. Could have used a couple of those fold up luggage stands in the room for the suitcases.

Loved this place!
Pros:

A little slice of rainforest heaven!
Hot springs were the best! As were the cold pool and river pool!
Accommodation clean and luxurious. Beautiful bathrooms.
We also did cooking class and night walk here.
About half an hour out the way from
La fortuna.

Pros:

Wir haben zwei von den neuen Bungalows bekommen und sie waren sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr großzügig.
Wir sind zusammen mit unseren Kindern (16 und 13 Jahre alt) gereist und hatten zwei nebeneinder liegende Zimmer. Das fanden wir sehr praktisch.

Cons:

Das Niveau der Speisen des Restaurants (Frühstück und Abendessen) entsprechen nicht der Hotelkategorie.
Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis an dieser Stelle stimmt leider nicht.
Ich denke, mann sollte das Servicekonzept in diesem Bereich noch einmal überdenken.
Es ist schade, wenn die Hotelgäste auserhalb der Anlage zum Essen gehen. Die Restaurants sind sehr schön, leider wird das Potential nicht ausgeschöpft.
