Pros:

Room had weird layout, was old and needed some serious renovations. We were a bit underwhelmed upon our arrival since we had paid for a suite, so we asked for a new room… In this new room, there was such a strong smell (humidity or something) and the noise from neighbours kept us up all night. On our final day, we asked to switch room again so we could sleep. But this new room was filled with lady bugs. I know it’s the season, but how could they get in the room with sealed windows… I tried to find where they came from and emptied out a box of tissue just trying to get as many as I could. They kept coming so we finally gave up and decided to leave. The staff was very comprehensive and agreed to a refund (thanks). Oh and the beach was closed… It was supposed to be open though, so that’s that.

Pros:

I only stayed 1 night wish I did 2. Thr roon was so clean bed was a little to soft for me but I liked that it vobrates with music very relaxing. I had no issue speaking English. They speak both. View if the lake which is nice. I definitely will be going back in the mid summer.

What I didn't like was the fact we had to wait a long time for the receptionist and also there was not a restaurent in the hotel or a real bar. The bath room is too small as well. Other thing were ok.

Check in was easy, quick and the view from the place was nice. Bed sheets had stains and the Auberge was run down. For the price, I would not book this hotel again. 2 star hotel at best.

I had a great time at this hotel and the location is one the best i went soo far the amenities and the service was A1 and they offer a lot of services for you to relax the proximity to the beach is definitely a plus and is is near a lot of interesting activities to do the only downside is that the hotel does not feature a restaurant inside it and the options for breakfast is very limited but other than that it was a very nice experience definitely would recommend.

As an American traveling for a night into this part of Canada we were treated terrible for not knowing French. Went to check in and they “couldn’t find our reservation” had papers printed for every reservation and skipped over ours multiple times until mysteriously it was found. After checking in we wanted to check out the beach area across the street and they had given us keycards but we could not find any entrance that used them and they did not explain how to get into it at all. As we turned our keys in the next day we were laughed at for not speaking French by the reception. Other than the people interaction being terrible the room was nice and no issues with the place itself just do not recommend going there as an American especially if you do not speak French.

first: great location, by the beach (free access with hotel passes) super bike friendly and close enough to the city restaurants and PTDN bike track. many spas and pool to relax… super nice place to stop by. owners on site. i recommend.
