Lovely staff who went out of their way to help
Pros:

Checked in and had a race the next morning. They changed my room to face the hillside as it would be quieter. They gave me a late check out too. I was delayed returning and they phoned me and arranged for a new room key so that I could have a shower even though it was later than the check out time. Such helpful lovely staff.

Pros:

It was an overall comfortable and enjoyable stay. The quality of the recently revamped ex local Shangrila hotel and new standards by HJ Wyndham shows. The bed was comfortable and size of the room was very comfortable for 2 persons. Filtered potable water and electrical sockets n lighting are well thought out. The daily room service was quiet effective and well appreciated. The chkin chk out staff and procedure was smooth. The private car park was also very convenient and secure.

Cons:

We were affected by hotel wide power failure on 1st 2 days. Some inconvenience caused but their repair maintenance did manage to resolve the problem.
If you are sensitive, road noise could affect you.

Old, not comfy but fantastic staff and good location. For the price we paid it’s good enough

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was spacious. Good central location.

Cons:

The beds were incredibly firm and uncomfortable. We had no hot water in our shower. There were 2 power outages during our stay.
