Patricia es un amor. Siempre atenta, siempre buena onda. Excelente locación, cercana, céntrica pero con una vibra más local. Me sentí como en casa. Además mi habitación tenía mi color favorito. Muchas gracias, voy a volver 🥰

Beautiful house and nice views from the room. The beds were so cozy we did not want to leave. The host is friendly and responsive, even when we arrived a bit later than expected. Would recommend to stay there if you are in Valparaiso.

The host was very attentive and kind. The hostel is very well located but still in a very quiet and charming area.

I had a very comfortable spacious room upstairs with an en suite bathroom.
Patricia made the hostel feel like home. She was very helpful & friendly & prepared simple but tasty breakfasts.
There is an outside terrace but only sat out there once.
There are some good local restaurants nearby instead of going into the centre.
Discovered a convenient nearby funicular which goes down to near Plaza Victoria.
Only 10 minutes from/to the main bus station @ 7000 Chilean pesos.

Hostess - totally helpful and cheerful every day.
Room, good. Shared bathroom, hot water inconsistent.
No supermarket nearby, many minimarkets and food options.

Excellent location just steps to the Funicular to downtown Valparaiso. In a nice neighbourhood near good restaurants and 10 minute walk to Pablo Neruda's house La Sebastiana. Patricia, our host was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed our chats in the morning over breakfast. Every time we returned it felt like coming home. The front of the house is decorated with a beautiful, colourful mural as are the rooms.

I loved the human quality of Patricia as a hostess, she made us feel right at home and was very attentive to our needs while exploring Valpo and its surroundings ❤️

She offered us a map or the most known tourists spots and even advised us the best way to do so.

I'm looking forward to coming back.

Very kind and helpful personal. We needed to change a little bit our reservation and she was so kind and we could change it. She told us some info about the town. Nothing is problem. We also could stay longer in the apartment than the check-out should be.... Very nice Patricia, really :-) Many thanks :-)

Would have preferred Chilean breakfast to American

We fell in love with Patricia and Destino Bellavista as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is in a brilliant location; a 10 minute walk into the main city and the tourist area, but it is in a great neighbourhood of its own. The accommodation is a ‘home away from home’ and the room has everything you need to feel truly comfortable and at home; a fridge, kettle, towels, great showers, comfortable beds and great decor. The breakfast was varied each day and the kitchen that you can use has everything you need. There is a balcony which is wonderful to sit out on. We stayed for 8 nights as a break from travelling/basic accommodation and the accommodation truly helped us relax. Patricia herself is such a wonderful woman- she is kind, funny and very interesting. She is the perfect host, has a lot of knowledge and tips about the area and places to go for a day trip, and is a great person to practice your Spanish with.

Patricia the hostel owner is highly friendly and responsive. Also Don Hernán (a permanent Chilean host) was very friendly and attentive with us. The place is clean, well decorated and nicely located.

Patricia is a host that makes you feel extremely welcome! When you arrive, she sits down with you over a drink and gives you some excellent advice on where to go and what to do in Valparaiso.
The Hostal is beautifull and has good facilities. In everything you can see that Patricia puts a lot of effort in making it feel like home for the guests. The rooms are absolutely perfect, they have a TV and a fridge and the matras is very comfortable!!
In short: I very highly recommend going here and I hope you will have as great a time there as I have had!!!

I love the owner and the way she takes care of you. The room I got was big, clean, and with a great view from my window. The property is very clean! Including the bathroom, living area, and kitchen. There are a few restaurants really close to the property. I would recommend staying there and would stay again if I ever come back.

Room was large & comfortable, tasty breakfast and our laundry was washed & delivered back on the same day for a small fee.

Excellent place to stay. Patricia was amazingly helpful. Great location, large rooms, hot showers, private bathroom, great wifi and breakfast. Definitely recommend

The perfect base to explore this incredible city. Patricia and Else are excellent hosts, and made our stay an experience to remember. We’ll definitely be back!
