Nice room. Excellent breakfast.
Great service.
The facilities are luxurious, and the rooms are clean and functional. The bathroom also features a separate toilet with a bidet seat. The restaurant's buffet offers a wide variety of delicious dishes.
Staff at the registration desk had limited English proficiency.
Comfortable stay and lots of facilities
Affordable for an old fashioned 5 star hotel. Room is decent size, toiletries supplies are Byredo.
Room smells damp, bathroom shower corners are a little grubby, toilet cubicle glass door is not frosted, it is see through. Not enough plug sockets at bedside tables.
Nice and spacious room, all amenities you like available and replenished. Comfy beds, good curtain to block daylight. Breakfast would be rated as very good, but unfortunately the hot dishes on display were all luke-warm to cold and the service staff was slow and unmotivated!
The staff speaks no to bad and little English and actually avoids even to try. The concierge service is a disaster!!! young girls with no knowledge of anything and NO English language skills. Sent us to the lake park which closed 45 minutes later, so no point to go in and pay the entrance fee. Sent us to temple which is closed for major renovation and construction works. So time and taxi money wasted. A hotel of this international standing and this even in the name (INTERCONTINENTAL!!!!) should definitely cater for international clients who cannot speak Chinese!!!

The hotel was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air-conditioning was good and the room and bathroom was very spacious. The gym is spacious and the pool was a lovely relaxing area. The hotel is close to restaurants and a lovely park to walk through at night. The room services is decently priced and the portions are generous. The breakfast is amazing with a wide variety of Western and Asian dishes to choose from. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.
Some of the facilities are somewhat older, like the plug station could be updated with c-port charging. but other than that the room is clean. Smoke free and the staff is very helpful.
