The unpainted, unmarked, traffic humps on drive up to the hotel. Not easily seen in the dark and not good for ones car

Excellent to have Nespresso in the room. I'm a sucker for kippers. Only suggestion: one would be fine, not two of them, and I prefer the traditional kipper, grilled with butter (hotels shy from this because of the cooking smell.

The beds were really comfortable and the staff were great. The food was also really good for dinner and breakfast.
There was nothing I did not like, the only thing worth noting is the entrance was not the easiest to find the first time I got their as my sat nav took me further up the street but that might just be me!

From arrival to departure, staff were bright and helpful. Rooms were immaculate, food was fabulous, and the atmosphere was great.

Een grote tegenvaller was het uitzicht. Op de website staat dat alle kamers uitzicht op de tuin hebben.
Wat er niet bij staat dat dit ook een grindpad kan zijn. Er zijn kamers in het sousterrain van het hotel met ramen op grond hoogte. Dit was voor ons een grote teleurstelling. Gevraagd of we konden wisselen van kamer, dat ging helaas niet.
Verder was het een prima hotel, vriendelijke personeel en heerlijk eten.
Breakfast was excellent.
The decoration of the hotel is fabulous, it's a truly lovely place.
All of the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional.
Breakfast was until 9.00am and we would have preferred until 10.00am but this was a minor issue made up for by the excellent food and service.
