A quiet, functional ensuite room with a comfortable bed.
The property as a whole is run-down and scruffy.
The breakfast was the poorest we've had in any B&B or hotel anywhere – a choice 3 or 4 packet cereals, no fresh fruit or yoghurt, orange squash instead of juice, inedible scrambled eggs, and a half-hour wait for a cup of tea.
Pub and room.
Breakfast wasn't great.
Staff were great, breakfast was one of the best I have had staying overnight somewhere.
Nothing comes to mind.
Cosy, historic and relaxing historic pub/b&b. We enjoyed dinner, the pub quiz and breakfast over our 1 night stay. Shame the pool table has limited space to play as it’s a great table but that made us play the pub quiz and glad we did as we won :) room was great, we was at the top so was nice and quiet. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would book again if doing something in the area in future.
Parking can be an issue, it is free next door after 6pm- 8am we waited a few mins and a space became free otherwise next one is at devils bridge a short walk away
Lovely pub. Friendly bar staff. Big room and comfy beds.
Noisy at night - as you wold expect from a pub.
Very slow breakfast service - but good when it arrived.
Great location in the heart of picture-postcard Kirkby Lonsdale. Lovely local shops. Good bar, fair food, and a fun and obliging evening staff. Room was charmingly quaint but clean and well & thoughtfully equipped. Plentiful hot water and a decent shower was much appreciated.
Very little, though the breakfast service was slow and rather sloppy. No toast & butter unless asked for which is very unusual.
Comfy bed
Good shower
Lack of parking - a nightmare !
Lots of stairs !
No breakfast available at time given as some sort of mix up with staff
Supper was a disappointing . Fish and chips very tasteless .
Its location was perfect.
Very noisy early mornings due to pub deliveries.
Great stop off on a long journey home from far North West Scotland. Room, staff, food and pub quiz all fabulous!
Noise
Too noisy
Last minute decided to stop over in Kirbky Lonsdale and this room was perfect for 3 of us and traveling with a dog. Excellent value for money
Lovely rooms, great location
Rooms were very hot over night. Fans provided to help
Sadly no chef that evening so had to eat elsewhere but lovely Indian around the corner
Staff were friendly and helpful and amenities very acceptable. Food and service very good also
Virtually nothing except the price was higher than friends paid in same road.
