Good value for what I paid. The room was clean and comfortable but could do with a freshening up. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

We spent over night. The place is a little shabby but the staff are super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night so were not surprised to hear some revelry but it didn't last long. Overall pleasant enough.

Very friendly place. Room was very comfortable and cozy yet sufficiently spacious. Dinner at the pub and breakfast were fantastic.

Very quaint property. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and professional and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area.

The good:- staff were all lovely, comfy bed and best scrambled eggs (breakfast) that i have ever had. Loads of parking (BTW car park entrance is next to coffee shop, I initially drove past it)
The bad:- three of the five ceiling light bulbs weren't working (also bedside lights are too low down for reading) and room door jammed so badly that i needed help to get in
The ugly:- broken toilet seat
The issues above were minor but irritating. However, the cheerful and helpful staff and the excellent breakfast, together with a charming "feel" outweighed these niggles. With a wee bit more attention to detail this hotel could be fantastic

Wonderful hotel. The second time I have stayed here. Wonderful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Alice is an absolute star.
Great food with generous portions. If you ate a full breakfast you would need to walk ten miles to walk it off.

When i say this hotel is a 100/10 i absaloutly mean its a 100/10 from the cleaness to the decor to the food not to mention the staff and the owner gareth honestly would come here weekly if i could they treat you like family and nothing is too much for them i stayed here with my husband for his work then again when my son passed away this will forever be my get away i travel over 2 hours to come to this hotel and i would be happy to travel more
