The decor was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had my nephew with me and he asked if we could stay there from now on after being in afew other hotels within the city
Location perfect.
You really do need to revisit the lack of a kettle in the room. Waking up during the night and wanting a cuppa? Not happening.
In our room the tv was terrible. The iPad or remote would not 'talk' to the tv. It took ages to get a programme on. Then it pixelated. Try for another channel and you went straight back to the beginning....no picture. Wait for ten minutes then the whole system starts again.
I told the person at reception about it when we checked out. She, correctly, asked if I had phoned reception to get it sorted. No I hadn't. We had had a very long day and we were in bed by 9pm to relax and watch some telly. It wasn't appropriate at that time to get someone to the room to fix it.

Great central location, near enough to transport links that it’s convenient, but not so close that the road is noisy (in fact I heard zero traffic noise!). Friendly helpful staff, and clean space efficient room. Great for a solo traveller!
I’m grateful I was on my own, this would have been a much less pleasant experience if I was sharing the room. The rooms also do lend themselves to short stays as there isn’t a kettle or fridge. This wasn’t much of an issue for me but I know it would irk others! As previously mentioned, I couldn’t hear the traffic outside but wowee you certainly can hear other people in their rooms. It sounded like people were treating the floor above like a trampoline!

The ipads were a pain. Ours stopped worked in the end the staff moved us rooms. Handled quickly, but it was an inconvenience. There were no cups in the room and the TV channels were a very boring selection. We were moved to a higher room, called a city View where the view was just scaffolding. So worse than before the TV worked which was great until 8.30am and then stopped working again due the the iPad.
I liked being able to relax in the lounge with a cuppa. I liked the books in the room.
Not having a kettle or anything to drink from, even a plastic cup by the sink when cleaning teeth would be good.
Amazing, loved it. Massive bed, super clean, great shower great venue and view. Bar and chilling areas pretty cool too. I wasn't super keen on having to work the lights/TV with the iPad but my partner took charge...and did enjoy that bit. Shame there's no kettle.

Good location
The room was fine. I find it very poor not to have water glasses in the bedroom or even a kettle. The iPad was very tired and didn’t work properly which was very frustrating

Really friendly staff, food location fairly good bed.
The cleanliness of the room was so poor, the shower hose was leaking, dust in the room, controls for the air con, TV and blinds as well as curtains through the tablet which was nearly with flat battery and the charging lead wasn't working. No kettle in the room, no wardrobe, limited space. For 101£ for the 1 night stay it's way too much for these facilities and overall room conditions.
It was just right both of us.
Shame both lifts were not available.
