Best resort in Golfito!
Pros:

Breakfast was very good! The location is convenient to the town and waterfront access with amazing wildlife and hikes.

Cons:

The pool was partially closed and kind of dirty looking, the BBQ area didn’t work, and the hotel didn’t have a microwave. None of this applies to the actual hotel room, just some areas for improvement.

Enjoyed our dinners in the outdoor restaurant. It was quiet in our room
Pros:

Beautiful open space for the restaurant, amazing pool, a real gym that is way better than the perfunctory spaces you get in most hotels. Very very good breakfast. The resort covers both sides of the street. The hotel itself is an eccentric kind of grand older place. It has beautiful wood and elegant details. I could see it used for a conference or other group event.

Cons:

The rooms and hallways are a little dark.
