I would recommend this hotel.
Pros:

It was in a convenient central location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was unwell in the last day of my visit and they were very helpful and made sure I was ok before I left the premises.

Amazing hotel close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street
Pros:

Easy to find, close to Marble Arch. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Rooms are supplied with tea and coffee, plus a couple of bottles of water and some fruit. There is also a security safe in the cupboard. The breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

My room was on the third floor but I could still hear traffic from the street. It didn’t really bother me as I had a good night’s sleep, but might for others.

Chambre 404 spacieuse et lumineuse avec vue arrière.

Cons:

La chambre 405 m’a été attribuée à mon arrivée. Cette chambre est minuscule. La seule vue sur l’extérieur est un petit Velux qui ne s’ouvre pas et qui est occulté. Cette chambre ne correspond en aucun cas à la description flatteuse présentée sur Booking.

La manager est assurément aimable et attentive, mais elle invite un client fidèle à prendre le petit-déjeuner dans leur autre établissement Montcalm, en face, en affirmant que le petit-déjeuner y est bien meilleur. Un peu plus de discrétion vis-à-vis des autres clients sera la bienvenue.

Par ailleurs, j’ai l’impression que les tarifs affichés sur Booking.com peuvent être légèrement gonflés puis cassés pour attirer les clients, avec des promotions Genius. Cette tactique pourrait donner une impression trompeuse et influencer la décision du voyageur.

Friendly and helpful staff but hotel looks tired

The reception staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast staff were helpful and friendly

Cons:

It took some time to obtain the room we needed. Parts of the hotel look shabby ie the bedroom decor and furniture. Bathroom needed maintenance on grouting woodwork and paint work looked tired
