Absolute shit hole! We booked the Brittinia for 1 night worst thing I ever did. Arrived to check in to be told there was a "maintenance issue" and they've provided us with another hotel in the business suite. (clearly doesn't exist) got to the park hotel if that's what you want to call it to a homeless man being brought in by paramedics. The rooms had no air con and it was 30° there was mosquitoes all over the building and when we got back to the room in the night there were dead mosquitos all over the beds and all on the walls. They expected us and our 2 young children to stay in there. My partner told the man on the desk that we want another room which he said wasn't available. Until we said we wanted our money back and we would sleep in the car the man the asked if we were private or council after we said we payed he miraculously found us a mosquito free room. We found out we had basically paid to stay in a homeless shelter. There were about 70 prams stacked on top of each other blocking fire exists. Children crying all night. Another woman who was homeless there complained about the mosquitos biting her children and the man gave her surface spray to kill them. We have asked for a refund, complained and got no reply. We will be sending all the info to the council and other authorities that need to know about this. We just waited until we received our £100 holding deposit as other customers have complained and not received theirs. We got ours today 10 days after they took it.

Parking very bad at property first come had to park in pay and display service costing a lot for all day .
Pros:

Keeping our room clean.

Cons:

Mattress need throwing away really poor quality.
Shower was electric water pressure really bad when hot water comes on.
Room service people came in without notification and everyday when we returned back at night in room could not enter in room. So had to keep getting it activated every night when asked why was told because of room service our card would become deactivated.
I requested a ground floor due to disability well in advance but gave me 1st floor disgusting.

Cons:

Booked for this hotel, arrived provided ID, signed paperwork and made payment of the deposit required. After all of this they then say they have no room available and to go to the best western (apparently their sister hotel). Just frustrating as if I knew this before I would have just gone to best western as right near the station and was walking in the cold (10-15 min walk)
