Meals were very ordinary
Liked the history of the hotel & the location was a just 20minute walk into Bowness. The bed was really comfortable, staff friendly & food lovely. The gardens were very pretty & we had a lovely view of the grounds.

We return to Lindeth Howe each year around this time and are never disappointed. This year was no exception. The warm welcome and general ambience makes you relax as soon as you enter. We have the same comfortable room each year so it is like returning ' home'. The room is cleaned each day and is always spotless. The food is delicious as always whether it is breakfast or dinner and there is a good selection of wines, cocktails and drinks both alcoholic or non alcoholic. There was just a few small changes we noticed this year, however, which are obviously due to cut backs. They are only little things like you no longer get shortbread biscuits with any coffee and only one packet of complimentary biscuits in your room when there used to be two each day. Although this did not in any way deter from our enjoyment of our stay, it shows the difficulties the hospitality industry in general is facing. We look forward to returning again soon.

Everything was lovey had such a calm warm feel to it. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Beds were so comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to visit again
