Stunning hotel in a beautiful area
Lovely hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meal are excellent. Bar has plenty of choice beers and spirits. Sat out in the garden which was very pleasant. Plenty of parking. Good location.
The breakfast options were fab, the one thing I would change is option for a stronger coffee but realise I am super fussy about coffee 😀.
Staff all really friendly and myself and my friend had a lovely stay.
See coffee comment above.
Lovely room. Good breakfast choices.Very helpful staff.
It was a little difficult to find the hotel in the dark.
Lovely bed comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens. Excellent breakfast. Everyone friendly and accommodating. A perfect visit.
Beautiful property. Lovely room. Warm comfy bed. Lovely views. Great parking space available and quirky decor. Good tasting breakfast.
Apart from reception staff which were nice. Food serving staff both evening pub and breakfast in the morning were avoidant and miserable. Felt like an inconvenience to them. I had a dirty cup which I asked to Change and it was done with a very dismissive attitude. Had to wonder around the bar and restaurant trying to find someone to serve us at the bar. Felt uncomfortable outside of our room. For the price that was paid for the 1 night and the food I’d of expected more positive vibes from staff too.
Friendly reception staff and hotel decor.
Restaurant prices were very high and didn't represent good value for money. The restaurant staff were robotic and not at all engaging with customers. I asked for a bread roll at dinner and despite paying around £85 for 2 before drinks, I was told this would come at extra cost.
Very pretty and comfortable
Some of the staff were not very friendly
Lovely welcome and a bright airy feel to it
Nothing
The ambience, the garden the A La Carte, the friendly and efficient staff.
The fish and chips on the bar menu was poor. Although the chips were good the fish was the worst battered fish we all had ever had.
