bad customer service
I stay at this property monthly for business and always have a great experience. The employees are always attentive, particularly Chef Charles, he makes eating at the restaurant a fun experience and takes pride in his craft. If you're looking for a cheers like setting combined with a national hotel chain, this is your place.
The staff, though swamped and irritated did their best to mitigate the problems. I loved our room.
Surprise fees
Location to downtown and how big the room was.
Either the linens were old and stretched out and loose to fit the bed or the person didn't know how to make the bed.
The shower was slippery around the edges which means it's not cleaned properly.
Matt was excellent. Very helpful with choosing something for dinner. Very friendly and easy to talk to.
Matt was awesome—friendly, approachable, and genuinely made everyone feel welcome. He was great at reading the vibe, answering questions, and whipping up drinks with a positive attitude. Really enjoyed the experience, and I’d happily come back just to have Matt behind the bar again.
Excellent service hands down
The hotel was A GREAT LOCATION for the PPG Paints venue! John greeted us as we parked, he was amazing, very helpful. The front desk help was satisfactory, nothing over the top. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. We went to the bar/bistro to grab dinner before the show, it was busy, only one waitress and she was anything but friendly. We waited for little under and an our and we ask her if she could check on the meal and she said it is very busy. Would NOT recommend the bar/bistro!
The staff was great, but they didn’t seem to have workers when the crowds were there for the event.
The food was delicious.
Overall it seemed well kept up and clean.
The mattresses were so noisy when moving around. Which made it a long night. Sleeping was the primary reason we stayed at a hotel so I probably won’t be back.
When running the water to take a shower it took a long time to get hot water. Between 5-10 minutes

The room was a little disappointing
With it not being as clean as it should.. I asked for Towels and a quick clean/trash take out and never received it.
Matt was the most awesome bartender ever!!!! He so amazing and I love hanging out here
The misleading online pictures.
Worst stay I've ever had. I think I would've rather stayed in my car. Rooms dirty, staff rude and not helpful, hidden charges and fees, misleading online information and when you bring it up you get the run around. Never again will I stay here. I've never had a bad review and normally I'll just go about my life and say it is what it is. But this time, I felt like this needed said. If you have no other options. Find one..the bench would be better.

Bed was very comfortable. Spacious room. Good location for city at a more reasonable price than hotels in the middle of downtown.
Left my luggage for the day after checking out. It worked fine but my bag was obviously behind the front desk all day and anyone could have said it was theirs and taken it. They need a check tag or at least to id the person picking up.
