Hotel Airone Isola d'Elba

This is an older property but well kept and clean. Front desk service was excellent and helpful. The only detractor is the restaurant is not connected to the main hotel building with no covered walkways during rain.

Let me start by saying that if I could give zero stars, I would. This was the absolute worst stay I’ve ever had in my life. On top of it being extremely hot outside, the temperature in the room would not go down despite the maintenance man “fixing it” 4 times. The wifi didn’t work and we had to use hotspot from a neighbor. We locked the back door and somehow a little girl was able to get into our room. Luckily my husband and I were only talking. Both the front and back door took the both of us to push it for it to fully close. The beach was dirty. Day 2, while we kept the “do not disturb” sign on the front door- a cleaning lady entered through the back door insisting that it was time for her to clean. I tried telling her no thank you, she kept walking further into my room while I was covering myself with a pillow because we had just woken up. She tries to go into the restroom and I tell her my husband is in there. She stands there with me waiting for him to get out to put extra towels and toilet paper. I was absolutely desperate to leave so we ended up finding a different hotel down the road for the rest of our stay. This was the worst part of our honeymoon. We didn't want to waste time fighting with them there so we checked out that morning.

My brief 3 day stay at the Airone Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The place and the surrounding park is well maintained, the rooms always clean and staff ready to help.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast is good. Lovely views across the bay to portoferraio and the lake had lots of egrets!It was a great find!

Really appreciate that its a kid friendly hotel. Great stay there. Amazing view from our room.
If I could say something to improve : the climatisation was a bit louder in the room, the second little bed was in the light of the hall at night and a bit noisy...

Der Pool war sehr gut, mit Meerwasser. Viele Kinder, auf die man Rücksicht nehmen musste. Das Baden im Meer war nicht einladend und der Weg zum Pool etwas weit. Das Ortszentrum war nicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, auch gab es in der Nähe keine Lokalitäten, so dass man auf den Pkw angewiesen war oder eben im hoteleigenen Restaurant speisen musste, leider nicht sehr günstig. Toller großer Parkplatz vorhanden.

Ok hotell for barnefamilie som bare bruker basseng idet vannkvaliteten i sjøen gjør at det ikke kan bades her. Enkel, men ok standard - dog veldig lytt. Hyggelig betjening - ok frokost. Et stort pluss er at hotellet tilbyr båtskyss med en fantastisk flott fyr til en rimelig pris.

Nice hotel and grounds with good food and service. But we came there partly for the advertised «private beach», but the very polluted waters makes it unsafe to swim in the sea there. The staff even recommend other beaches outside of the bay. The polluted lagoon next to hotel seem to be breeding ground for mosquitos.

Positives: the pools are great for kids and the restaurant has good quality food.
Negatives: the beds are VERY hard so we didn't get a single nights good sleep during our stay.
Also there was an incredibly loud party behind the hotel two nights in a row so our kids had to move to our room (we're talking nightclub-level loudness...)
The food in the restaurant is good but the staff seems miserable and also we had random items added to our bill a couple of times (possibly accidentally, but no matter what, it's annoying to feel you need to scrutinize your bill)
Yes there is a beach, but it's not fit for swimming due to algae and rocks. The whole week we did not see a single person in the water.
Overall this hotel has a lot of facilities but it feels a bit old and tired, and the rooms are fairly basic.

Good restaurant with high level food and above all the service is just perfect

We were there in ferragosto and they made an amazing event with super luxury aperitivo and dinner

Hard to get to with bus system

The room was worn out, the floor very slippery and the air conditioning noisy. The bathroom started to float after all gourmet of us had taken a shawer. The dinner was average quality for an all inclusive hotel. The breakfast was a disappointment. Overall not a four star experience and therefore overpriced for this quality.

El hotel es muy bonito y el servicio del personal lo hizo excepcional, principalmente la atención del personal del bar (Rocco y Geuseppe) quien hicieron amena las noches de mi estancia, su amabilidad de otro mundo. Lo que menos me gusto fue que al hotel le falta mantenimiento y limpieza.

The staff was very friendly. Francesca was extremely helpful with a medical issue my wife had. We will return. Take the bus into town to avoid taxi fees. Highly recommended.

great place to stay with a great parc surrounding it. very friendly staff and clean as well as spacious rooms. we chose to have dinner there too and the food was really great.
would definitely love to come back.

Excellent Hotel, very courteous staff. Management very attentive to customer hospitality. Beautiful swimming pool, many activities including the possibility of renting chairs and umbrellas on the most beautiful beaches of the island. To be recommended and to come back

Vennlig og service innstilt personale. Rommene er litt slitne og aircon virker fryktelig dårlig. Kaldeste vi fikk rommet til var 22,5 grader om natta. Stranda tilhørende hotellet er ubrukelig å bade på. Skarpe steiner og mudder. En liten båttur unna fikk vi ordentlige bademuligheter. Underholdning i felles området på kvelden var så høyt at du hørte det over hele området. Unødvendig høyt nivå. Vil du bade i sjøen velg et annet Hotel.
