Hotel Bischoff

After traveling all day, I drove to the hotel, ready to relax for the evening. I looked ahead for a hotel offering parking. I arrived to find there was not any parking at this hotel. I pulled over by the front door to find it locked, with a sign saying you have to check in at a different hotel. I drove around trying to get to the other hotel, but you can’t actually drive to it, so I parked down the street and walked. Arriving at the door of that hotel, it too was locked with a note saying to check in at the adjoining restaurant. Finally checked in, I asked about the parking and was given directions to the garage that is “only a 4 minute walk from the hotel”. So I went back to the hotel, unloaded my bags, and drove to the garage.

The room was sufficient, but nothing noteworthy and not worth all the hassle. For the included breakfast and to check out, you have to go back to the restaurant at the other hotel. So, you either pay twice to park your car, or take your luggage to the garage, then go the opposite direction to go check out.

It definitely wasn’t worth all the hassle.

What an ordeal! The hotel says they have parking, but they don’t. You have to park 4 minutes away in a garage. That was just a tiny part of it though. First we got to the hotel and found nowhere to park. So, I pulled up in front of the door, as out of the way as I could, so we could ask about parking. Guess what?!? There was no one there and the door was locked, with a note saying you had to check in at another hotel to get your key. Well we had a tough time finding a way to the other hotel, since I was trying to drive there, but couldn’t. I had to find a place to pull over and walk to the hotel. What did I find there? Another note saying to check in at the adjoining restaurant. So I finally did that, drove back to Bischoff, unloaded, drove to the garage and walked back to the hotel. We got settled in but there’s no bar on site, no casino on site, nothing. You have to go back to the other hotel and restaurant for breakfast and to check out. Overall it was too much of an ordeal for a mediocre hotel.

There is no parking. I had to Park in a public parking, and paid the whole parking time.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel bischoff for three nights and it was awful. We had to check in at a restaurant about a quarter mile away.There were no directions to the restaurant. There is no one at the front desk at any time. The entrance is dark and unsafe. The place is not clean. One day our room wasnotmade up. The wifi was spotty at best. Breakfast was barely adequate. The staff was surly and unconcerned. Definitely not a three star hotel as advertised. Our final night there was creepy at best. Only three rooms were occupied. Wouldn't stay there on a bet.

Das Haus ist alt und heruntergekommen. Der Fensterriegel zB ist falsch montiert: zeigt er nach links, wie man das Fenster normal öffnet, kann es nur gekippt werden; Griff nach unten (normalerweise geschlossen) = offen; Griff nach rechts = gekippt. Man kümmert sich offensichtlich bucht wirklich. Im Bad keine Steckdose --> föhnen nur im Zimmer am Bett ohne Spiegel möglich. Bad sehr eng; TV Sender zig mal der gleiche und nur wenige normale Sender eingerichtet, viele können nicht empfangen werden. Dafür viele Verkaufssender; da hat sich niemand wirklich um eine sinnvolle Einrichtung des TV gekümmert. Bei der Anreise war niemand da, es hing ein Zettel an der verschlossenen Türe, dass der Schlüssel bei einem anderen Hotel abzuholen ist. Also muss man mit Koffer und Rucksack in BAD herumlaufen zu dem Hotel; Adresse stand zwar dran, aber keine Wegbeschreibung. Sowas sollte man VOR Anreise wissen. Der Teppich im Aufzug ist eklig verdreckt und sollte dringend erneuert werden.

Zimmer war aber sehr sauber. Ausblick auf das schäne Friedrichsbad direkt gegenüber wunderschön. Wenig befahrene Straße vor dem Haus und damit erstaunlich ruhig gelegen. Frühstück gut und entspannt. Frühstücksraum schön hergerichtet. Die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich.

Inchecken ging wat ingewikkeld, via een nabijgelegen restaurant. Hotelbed en kussens waren oncomfortabel. Ontbijt was summier, laatste dag moesten we zelfs naar een ander restaurant vanwege ziekte personeel.
Wel heel erg centraal gelegen.

La posizione ottima. Però per effettuare il ceck in si deve chiamare un’altra struttura. Devi attendere prima che arrivi la receptionist. Per fare La colazione (scarsa) ti devi recare in un altro hotel

Hotel con buena ubicación, bastante céntrico.
Cuando llegas no hay personal en recepción, has de llamar para que vayan a darte la llave.
Pregunte por el aparcamiento y no supieron responderme, ni nos ayudaros. Nos tuvimos que buscar la vida.
Solicite una segunda almohada, la chica me dijo que no sabia donde habían porque ese no era su hotel, y así me quede

No air conditioning. I think it was just our room. I recommend you ask before booking. Great location.

We booked this stay on a whim and are so glad we did.
Picture perfect and fairy-tale charm.
Our receptionist was a dream. She helped me with parking and recommended a great restaurant in town - where she also woks as a waitress. They had amazing maultaschen.
Delicious breakfast the next morning.

Gute zentrale Lage, Parkhaus in in der Nähe, gutes Frühstück, freundlicher Service.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Hotel Bischoff reserviert und haben eins im Löwenbräu bekommen. Wir wollten aber ins Bischoff weil wir es schon gekannt haben, Das Löwenbräu ist auch gut aber es hat kein Aufzug und für das Frühstück miss man ins andere Gebäude. Fanden wir nicht so gut!

Nice but sparse facility. Room was small. There were no staff members on site. We had to go down the street to check in and get our key. The free breakfast was also down the street at the same restaurant where we got our key. Rather strange arrangement.

Fantastic location opposite the spa complex. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast fine, but one day it was served at a sister hotel down the road . Building a little noisy from other guests - wooden stairs, echoey hallway, but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again.

The location of the hotel is optimal, right in front of the two main bath complexes in Baden-Baden and right off of the main pedestrian walkway where all the restaurants and shops are situated. Parking is a five-minute walk away and first-come, first-serve (I got the last spot at 1330h). The bedroom has plenty of space and light, but the bathroom is cramped. The service was generally adequate, but the hotel's policy of locking the front door during the afternoon while no one is at the desk is not stated, and can leave patrons abandoned outside and having to wait for assistance. It is not clear patrons need to have their room key on them at all times to be able to access the hotel. The breakfast was good if not greatly varied. Patrons pay for the location; the hotel's rates are much more expensive than those of surrounding establishments.

L'hôtel est très bien situé mais la personne à l'accueil n'était pas aimable. Frigo bruyant dans la chambre et salle de bain trop petite.
La personne à l'accueil n'a pas daigné nous donner les informations pour bénéficier de la réduction pour le parking.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden, die Lage ist perfekt, alles war sehr sauber und gefrühstückt haben wir auch sehr gut 😊
