The accommodation provided was significantly below the standard advertised on your platform and below what would reasonably be expected of a property accepting paying guests.The issues experienced during our stay included.Extremely old and uncomfortable beds where the springs could be felt through the mattresses, causing pain and preventing a proper night’s sleep.
* A room that was visibly dirty on arrival, including crumbs, dirt, and spiderwebs.
* Broken glass left on the hallway floor, creating a serious safety hazard.
* Complimentary biscuits that were approximately three years out of date.
* Stained, old, and unpleasant-smelling mugs that appeared unhygienic and unsuitable for use.
* A persistent unpleasant odour coming from the bathroom.
* Visible nails protruding from the headboard, presenting a potential risk of injury.
* No formal check-in procedure. Staff did not request identification, take guest details, or complete any registration paperwork. We were simply asked whether we were another guest before being given access.

These issues collectively demonstrate serious shortcomings in cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and overall management. The condition of the property was not as described when booked through Booking.com, and the accommodation provided did not meet reasonable expectations.

Few tweaks would make breakfast a 9 or 10.

Breakfast only had cold choices except for toast, even the coffee was tepid.
Continental isn't for everyone, cold ham and cheese with a cold hard boiled egg just didn't cut it.

The cleaness of the room was very poor, we complained and cleaner came in took hair out of plig hole in bath but didn't clean anything else. The bathroom was very dirty, hairs all over bath and walls, toilet was dirty at the back, shower curtain was thilthy, bathroom blind was very dirty, sink had all grim in it and cobwebs in corners of the walls. The throw on the bed had food stains, main room floor hadn't been cleaned there was bits all over it, light switches full of finger marks, blinds didn't work and bathroom window didn't close making it very noisy at night. Only half rhe spot light worked, snot down side of dress and remote control was stinking, TV full of dust.

Room can benefit from some attention, It looked a bit tired

I refused to stay for free with family knowing it would be hot and I was willing to pay to stay where there is air conditioning. There was no air conditioning.
They came up to fix it mote than once however it never worked. They did bring me a fan as soon as I requested one however that is not air conditioning.
I would have stayed for free at many friends/families homes had I known there was no air especially on the top floor. Also the one shower I took there there was no hot water. It was hardly even warm. Luckily I showered elsewhere.
