Staff were friendly and location was great and close to the city center.
Walls are paper thin and you could hear everything from other guest in their room.
We enjoyed the proximity to everything in Oaxaca central, but that is it. The staff was polite, but not overtly friendly.
We were woken up at 5am to loud music, and then same music kept us up that night past midnight. I called the front desk to complain and they said they "didn't hear it" it wasn't until I showed them a video, and other people complained that they did something about it.
The other issue I had was that they would only "refill" our toilet paper with half used toilet paper rolls and never left a spare in the morning. I had to go out and buy our own toilet paper, same with towels, I requested one extra towel and they told me no. Throughout the hotel, the plumbing is shotty. Our shower leaked and sprayed all over the bathroom, the sink did as well.. the public bathrooms have really bad craftsmanship. Just not what you expect from a hotel downtown.
