Staff were very friendly and the location was perfect the price was great, the room was warm and comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was tasty.

Cons:

The room/ decor was slightly dated, very clean though. The breakfast room was hard to find with signs giving different directions. Service at breakfast was somewhat disjointed with different items arriving separately and only following further requests to staff who again were very friendly and helpful. There were some issues with freshness/quality of the toast which was raised with staff who acted promptly to rectify the issue and apologised.

Pros:

Friendly staff, good location. The room was big enough for our needs, 2 adults and 1child-14th years old.

Cons:

Very noisy room because of the old windows. The bathroom was small and old, not normal for a 4* hotel. It was a problem with the water but they managed to fixe it fast.
I understand that is an old building but still...
