It’s a nice place with good location and great breakfast

Já me hospedei no Hotel Atlântico Praia em outras oportunidades, mas a minha experiência mais recente deixou uma marca terrível, exclusivamente devido ao péssimo atendimento na recepção. Faço questão de deixar este relato minucioso para alertar a gerência e os futuros hóspedes.Cheguei ao hotel por volta das 12h, sabendo que o check-in seria apenas às 14h. Na recepção, o atendente Marcelo já havia iniciado o atendimento de uma senhora de idade avançada (que deduzo ter cerca de 80 anos, acompanhada do esposo e de uma filha). De forma muito antiética, ele simplesmente interrompeu o atendimento da idosa e se dirigiu a mim. O motivo ficou claro rapidamente: ele estava nitidamente interessado em me vender passeios turísticos para preencher meu tempo até o check-in. Como viu a possibilidade de ganhar comissão, tentou ser extremamente cortês comigo naquele primeiro momento.No entanto, a situação tomou um rumo constrangedor e revoltante. Quando Marcelo voltou a atender a idosa, percebeu que a reserva dela havia sido cancelada pelo Booking. Nesse momento, a postura dele mudou drasticamente. Ele destratou a senhora e, com total falta de empatia, pronunciou os seguintes dizeres: "Em Copacabana tem um monte de hotéis, algum terá um quarto para você, aqui não temos". A idosa saiu visivelmente chateada, afirmando que nunca mais voltaria àquele hotel. Fiquei assistindo àquilo sem acreditar no que estava vendo.Logo em seguida, ele iniciou o meu atendimento e pediu o código da minha reserva. Para a minha surpresa, a minha reserva também constava como cancelada. Imediatamente, a "simpatia" do Marcelo (que antes queria me vender passeios) desapareceu. Ele passou a me destratar da mesma forma. Entregou-me os papéis que eu estava preenchendo e disse que aquele documento serviria para qualquer hotel da cidade, mandando eu procurar outro local.Tentei argumentar sobre o motivo do cancelamento e mostrei o print da minha reserva confirmada.
