Great value, lovely staff and convenient lolocation
Pros:

Thw staff are all fabulous, no egos or too cool for school attitude. The room was very big, a huge bed. Breakfast was largely filipino as you would expect but there is an egg and bacon station, made to order. Fabulous value in a convenient location

Cons:

The only negative ia thw lack of hot shower water. I ran the shower for over 10 minutes.. Evening and Morning and it was barely like warm at best

Cons:

First room has a lot of insects (we were given two choices, staff will spray the room or transfer to another room). We opted to changed room however the ac was not working properly even after they cleaned the filter. We ended up asking for an electric fan.
Rooms need renovation.

Pros:

What I like most about Hotel del Rio is the bathroom water—it’s fresh, clean, and odor-free. The drainage system also works really well, so there’s no unpleasant smell at all.
The buffet breakfast is another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes, with a different menu to enjoy each day.

Solid dependable hotel with easy access to the river walk promenade

Location is convenient to churches and you can easily move around.

Great but can be improved.
Pros:

Historic, great location and very good buffet breakfast

Cons:

The box a/c in all rooms are noisy. They should upgrade to a split type. I had difficulty sleeping because I’m sensitive to noise
