I would recommend the Spit to anyone who asked me
Pros:

Location, beach and view were all great.
Having that French and Italian restaurant across the road was fantastic.
The enclosed balcony made the unit feel much, much bigger than I expected.
The walk to the centre of Mooloolaba is short and there were some restaurants there that I would like to try.

Cons:

The beds were too soft for me. They really sagged in the middle. I had to sleep on the edge of the mattress to get some support.

Apartment mit Aussicht im 5. Stock ohne Klimaanlage.
Im Apartment roch es muffig. In den alten Kleiderschränken und Küchenschränke müffelt es extrem. Dieser Gestank liegt in der ganzen Wohnung.
Auf unsere Reklamation hin konnten wir in eine andere Wohnung wechseln. Keine Aussicht, aber ein top modernes und sehr sauberes Apartement im 3. Stock mit allem Komfort. Danke Ray und Lynlea für die Hilfe damit wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt hatten.

Fantastic, will come back again!
Pros:

A perfect location, no road between you and the beach, very quiet. Just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants, patrolled beach nearly right out front. View from the seventh floor was well over the trees so you could see straight out to the ocean.

Cons:

Parking in our particular spot was very tight maneuvering in the lower car park

Absolutely wonderful! We will be back!
Pros:

We absolutely love 84 the spit! We’ve been staying there for years and we just love it so much! Spectacular views of the beautiful ocean and Mooloolaba beach. Easy access to restaurants and shops on the front. Wonderful beach walks, gorgeous pool too!

Cons:

The parking is always a challenge. Parkings are small - difficult for 4 wheel drive vehicles. We’re used to it so it doesn’t bother us.

Great apartment with beach access.
Pros:

Great spot right on the beach. 1 minute walk to pubs, restaurants, cafes and bottle-o. Nice heated pool. Short 5 walk to main shopping strip. Excellent sized apartment for 4 or 5.

Cons:

Everything was great. BBQ would be a nice addition.

Right on the beach.
Pros:

Location on Parkyn Parade. There is a lift and a pool. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped.

Cons:

Car park very difficult to navigate because of all the concrete poles.
Not possible to lock children in the apartment.

The view as right on the beach, spacious living and bedrooms, close to everything.

Cons:

No lift from.second carpark, balcony had cobwebs on ceiling, We knew there was no air conditioning but had fans but still very hot inside. Beds need an upgrade not comfortable and pillows flat and too soft.

Cons:

The apartment does not have air conditioner... We didn't check it when booking because we were sure it would have a/c... We could not sleep well, even with all windows open. And open windows means excessive traffic noise from 5am... Four nights like this for almost $300 per night - very bad experience. We'll never book this accoomodation again.
