Excelent si de repetat oricand!
Pros:

Micul dejun nu foarte variat, dar foarte bun. De ziua sotiei am gasit in camera o sticla de sampanie iar in ultima seara doua pahare cu lichior si 2 prajituri cu un mesaj de multumire pentru vizita noastra, un gest foarte frumos pe care nu l-am mai intalnit pe nicaieri! Amplasarea exceptionala a hotelului care confera camerelor cu vedere la mare un view exceptional, mai ales celor aflate la un etaj superior, cum a fost cazul nostru, asa cum si solicitasem hotelului, o dorinta deasemenea indeplinita!

Cons:

Poate o diversitate mai mare a micului dejun sau rotatia produselor oferite macar la 2-3 zile. Deasemenea personal preferam dotarea bailor cu dus walk in, nu stiu daca hotelul are si astfel de camere, dar ar fi mult mai comod.

Pros:

O quarto era muito espaçoso, boa localização, funcionários muito prestáveis.

Cons:

Jantar, sem fruta fresca, pouca variedade opções, pequeno almoço os ovos mexidos eram muito maus

Good if you like to sit by pool
Pros:

Friendly staff especially in the restaurant- great food , good bed, nice area can walk to seafront and good pool area
Nice touch left a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary

Cons:

Unfortunately a lot of building work going on on next block - very noisy sitting on bedroom terrace was a shame and air con vent / shower wall etc old/dirty and asked if we could move rooms to the other side but hotel apparently full or you could pay an extra 40€ night for better room

Hotel clean but tired needs a reburbish to bring to 4 star standard
In area called Lido so A good couple of miles walk into Funchal downhill going all uphill back but on a bus route

Very nice and pleasant stay. Great location. Would recommend staying at this hotel.
Pros:

Location is very well placed and close to amenities. Very close to airport bus route which as super convenient and cost effective.

Room - Clean and fairly well kept. The size was generous and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. Wasn't expecting a fridge so that was a bonus. Good TV channels.

Dining area - was a nice size, clean with a good varied breakfast and amazing Hot Chocolate from the drinks machine.

Reception was helpful and very quick to answer any questions or issues.

Cons:

Wasn't easy to find the entrance from the lower main road - We arrived after using public transport and we had to ask around as how to get to the hotel entrance (which is accessed from the road above which made it a little awkward). There was a lower entrance via the restaurant next door but this wasnt clear and we only found this out from another person staying at the hotel so could have done with a much clearer sign.

Toilet cystern and flush in room - it made a constant noise and the flush took time to work but this didn't impact our sleep or stay.

The WiFi in the room - was weak.

However the hotel was very quick to try to help resolve both issues.

Booked a room with a mountain view - I wouldn't have exactly described it as such as it was covered in apartments, however it was still a pleasant view but on reflection wish I'd opted for the sea view instead.
