We survived
Pros:

As an American read the reviews carefully everyone has been accurate. The location is good right by the train and public bus that you pay $7 to get to Europa Park. We came in July and survived the hot rooms and poor breakfast. The property was somewhat empty and pretty quiet. We were in the lobby for a bit without seeing anyone else.

Cons:

Overall I’d say if you’re American you might want to stay somewhere else. Like holiday inn that has a standard for customer service.
1) The receptionist is passive aggressive. In the USA this is rude behavior, but in Germany this might be acceptable. I was in the lobby and heard her be very rude to guests over the phone and in person. People had issues with their room or keys and were scolded like kids with a “too bad so sad” attitude. We survived but would choose not to deal with that on a second trip.

2) You may or may not get your money back for the bus to Europa park. It’s about $7 euro per person round trip and it must be cash. They do not have a shuttle and it’s false advertising on their name. We did NOT get our money back when we showed the receptionist our receipts for the bus fare. So consider these costs when booking compared to nearby hotels or hotels with shuttles.

3) There is no receptionist at night (after 2-4pm) they leave the keys on the table and use the honor system. We felt lucky to be safe during our stay, and felt lucky to be able to get into the hotel when we arrived at midnight from the train.

Overall I would do more research next time. Our stay wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either. Use that how you will.

Wederom zeer tevreden.
Pros:

Zuiver, goede ligging, uitgebreid ontbijt, parking voor de deur, rolluiken waardoor je de hitte kon buiten houden en de kamers waren voorzien van een ventilator. We hebben hier verbleven van 20/07 op 21/07 en daarna van 23/07 tot 24/07. 2 verschillende kamers dus en beiden uitstekend in orde.

Cons:

Er zou een extra hoofdkussen aanwezig mogen zijn. Dit is werkelijk het enige puntje wat ik kan geven.

Clean but very basic. Okay for a one night stay. Three nights was too much.
Pros:

The location was good because it was a short walk from the train station. I travelled by plane, bus and train from UK. It was very late when I arrived due to delays at the airport. Entry to the hotel was easy with the pin given.

Cons:

There was no kettle in the room, it was literally just beds. I also thought that a shuttle bus pass to Europa Park was included but it was never offered. If you went for breakfast after 8 am, the food was cold.
This was just my experience.

Sauber und praktisch, mit kleinen Schwächen
Pros:

Das Hotel hat insgesamt einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Lage ist praktisch – die Bushaltestelle befindet sich nur etwa 100 Meter entfernt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Der Self-Check-in verlief problemlos und sehr unkompliziert. Besonders positiv ist mir der gute Haartrockner aufgefallen, was nicht selbstverständlich ist.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war typisch deutsch, allerdings waren die Auswahl und die Qualität der Produkte eher durchschnittlich.
Im Zimmer war es zwar etwas warm, aber dank der Außenrollläden und des Ventilators ließ sich die Temperatur gut aushalten.

Alles in allem entsprach es unseren Erwartungen voll und ganz.
Pros:

Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Auf Anfrage gibt es auch Glutenfreies Brot.Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Frühstücks Personal spricht leider kein Deutsch.
