Unfortunately front desk staff not professional and well educated to handle such position, property was not clean at all, even the mattress was full with bed bugs, tea Katie extremely dirty. Last thing the giving room not the same booked room through expedia web site and when I rise up my complaint, I received very un professional feedback as well.
It seems once payment done no longer your voice will reach out anyone.

Old building
Bad idea to chose it
You can find nicer than this hotel
Water stopped running in the toilet taps whilst I was in the shower. Noone responded when i called. I even rang the emergency line and noone was available. Rude staff at the reception. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone
Good and clean
I stayed for 1 week in Mena hotel during my last trip to Riyadh
The hotel location in Olaya area is Perfect. Easy access to all major roads. I loved the view from my room to Al Faisaliyah tower and the National library.
Rooms are very clean, breakfast offers a good variety of food and the service Is great!
I asked one time to deliver breakfast to my room instead of going to the morning Buffet and I was surprised by a call from the Chef who asked me how I would like the have the eggs cooked!
I will certainly stay again in Mena Hotel.
Perfect hospitality so clean i like it. All staff were helpful and very tasty food. The location of the hotel is excellent and close to shopping centers. Very nice garden in front of the hotel with a lot of activities for kids.
Great hospitality, recommend, would stay again. Very welcoming
It was an “OK” stay. Booked a last minute night and it was the best of the available. Needs a little bit of TLC, the receptionist was a very helpful guy. I won’t nevessa stay there again unless it’s one of the few options available .
The room I was initially given smelled like an ashtray and had stains all over the table. The bathroom floor was wet, the ac was making a squeaking sound and the room phone had no dial tone to even speak to reception. Second room was ok- but its a very old hotel (and ac is too loud in general)
Arrived with a fully pre-paid booking, and was told at the front desk that the hotel is full and my booking is not in the system, and it's 'not our problem'... I guess the hotel was over-booked. So I can't comment on the rest of the hotel, but I can say that the lack of empathy and understanding from the front desk staff was almost comical. Lesson learned, no guarantee of getting a room even with fully pre-paid booking.
Upon arrival at 22:20pm I were not greeted, either acknowledged at the front office.
The poor Saudi agent barely looked at me or made any efforts to make me feel welcomed.
I asked him for how long he is on Hospitality and replied five months only.
They didn't surprised me at all. Obviously nobody had a sense of common sense of sympathy.
After Mr. Mahmoud arrived in the middle of this hilarious and outrageous scene.
Guesst all over and one unexpired men being the desk leading apparently.
I were already couple of minutes awaiting while Saudi citizens stand off right there with no respect either.
Conclusion I have the Zoo feedback to Mr Mahmoud as an example.
He replied we are all in a Zoo. All animals.
Utterly outrageous and disrespectful.
He blamed the KSA and property in a provocative way pushing any obligations away.
Spite the matter room were big and comfortable.
This hotel is giving you the real Arabic feeling. The building is arabian style, its interior is arabic, it has constant - kind of like nostalgic - arabic music.
There was good food, nice reception service, a cozy lobby area with out-door seating area.
It has super view when you get a room to the square side (which I had). : )
It feels that it is located right in the centre as everything is nearby and rather close (within walking distance); and right infront of you when you step out of the hotel..(no empty fields ot streets)
And as a Bonus - you are hearing all the Prayers to your room because the mosque is very close and the area is quiet : )
I Remember Around 5am in The Morning Of January 24th 2019,Entering The Hotel And Immediately Feeling Rejuvenated. The Calmness That Came Over Me, When The Friendly Staff Assisted And Settled Me In To My New Home.
I Can Really Write A Novel About This Place. From The Friendly And Helpful Staff, The Great Amenities And The Lovely Food😍👌
I Recommend Anyone Who Visits Riyadh,Whether For Bussiness Or Pleasure. To Concider This Beautiful And Affordable Home Away From Home..
Overlooking One Of Thee Largest Libraries I Have Ever Seen, And Being In Central Riyadh Without The Sound Of Trafdic.. How Amazing Is That?
I Love My Mena Family
🙏
As someone who is travelling a lot, good hotels with fast and accurate service is a must.
I would just say - Bravo Mena. In this hotel you will feel such a warm atmosphere (same as at home), exceptional service from a front desk and reception ( Talal and Hesham - big hug, guys) and really grateful cabin cleaner (Abdulrauf). Hotel have basically everything that you need for a standard day activities.
There is a lot of prejudice about Saudi Arabia. This hotel convinced me otherwise. I have not experienced those amount of kindness and level of service anywhere.
Thankful from my heart,David.
I was one mount’s in this amazing hotel with perfect location (city center). All staff is more than proffesional,so kind, pleasure and in this hotel uou will feel like in your home!
Thank you for everything, for one of the best experience in my life .
Kind regard’s

It is very central location in Olaya street in Riyadh.. lobby is well designed. Rooms are little old but veey clean and tidy. Ac works very good. Besides this there is a Turkish Chef and he ia doing veey good.. Breakfast buffet was had quite enough variety.
Worst hotel I’ve been in, the room wasn’t clean , the dust was everywhere. when we arrived , there was a leak of water from the roof , the fridge doesn’t work, the view is very bad and also they told us that we have to check out even though we had one day left
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the year. It has a good standard and centrally placed. Adequate rescources and nice staff. The food at breakfast is good and a reasonable spread. Quiet and private. I never had any problems here.
