Our interactions were exemplary. The staff on reception were most helpful and respectful. The concierge was a great source of help and advice. The restaurant and bar staff were most attentive. The staff as a whole helped to make our stay a very happy one.
Our room was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The hotel had good access to the metro and skyrail and was in walking distance to some shopping malls.
We felt it was good value.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for. The hotel is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and perfectly located, but what truly made my stay special was the exceptional staff.
A very heartfelt thank you to Namdrel, Dear, and Tangmo. Your kindness, professionalism, and beautiful smiles made every day brighter. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and you made me feel at home away from home.

All the employees I interacted with who were Breeze, Feiya, Tangmo, K, Oui, Wat and Dear were fantastic helpful and very friendly. They handled any issue or question I had perfectly and made my stay so much more enjoyable. I would love to stay here again in the near future.

Arrived to a warm welcome from Breeze and later also from K and the team. It is positioned 5 minute walk down Soi 18 from Sukhumvit. So near all the hubbub of the city but no noise pollution right nearby. Lovely rooftop pool. Rooms spacious and although laundry was late being delivered one day it was perfect. Room view was poor but expected that for the cheapest room. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Guy on concierge was lovely. Didn’t get his name. Reception team so friendly. Breakfast fine for about gbp 7 so cannot complain. Great spot, excellent value. Enjoy

We've stayed in Bangkok many times and Plark Plaza is our new favorite hotel. Beautiful rooms , wonderful staff , especially Tai at the lobby bar.From the moment we pulled up the doorman, baggage handler and front desk were all so kind and helpful.We will definitely return

We arrived after a very long flight from Ireland and were really disappointed with the first room we were given. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, we could barely sleep, and it never got properly cold. The view from the room was awful – it looked onto what seemed like an abandoned building with clothes hanging out to dry and exposed air-conditioning units. On top of that, there were leaks under the sink and around the toilet in the bathroom.

Because we were only staying for three nights, we initially decided to just grin and bear it. However, after two nights it became too much, so I went to reception and asked to change rooms, explaining that it was one of the worst rooms I’d ever stayed in.

To be fair, the staff couldn’t have been nicer – very friendly and helpful – and they arranged a new room for us straight away. The second room was totally different and much cleaner, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were still issues: the shower swung from very hot to very cold in the space of one shower, and then the plugs wouldn’t charge our phones properly. At that point I could only laugh and decide to just get on with the holiday.

Overall, the staff were lovely and did their best, but the maintenance and general room quality really need serious improvement.

The hotel (currently known as Park Plaza but soon to be renamed Radisson Red?) looks a bit old-fashioned. It is a small-scale hotel with eight floors, the top floor of which does not have rooms but does have a gym, swimming pool, roof terrace and bar. The people that work there are very friendly, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant. The second-floor restaurant is used for breakfast in the morning and operates as the Indian restaurant Daryaganj in the evenings and at weekends. The staff at this restaurant are excellent, particularly Bee and Deepak. The food is delicious and highly recommended. We stayed in two rooms on the fourth floor: one superior room and one junior suite. The rooms are a little dated, but appear neat at first glance. The suite is particularly spacious and has good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. During our stay, we frequently observed stains on the clean bedding and towels, which we found unacceptable. Unfortunately, we often had to go to reception when the cleaners forgot to restock the towels, toilet paper or coffee capsules. Bangkok is a busy city and you can hear noise from the street in your hotel room. The superior room was less affected by this. This was because it did not overlook a busy street. Instead it overlooked a wall of an adjacent building. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we arrived at the hotel with one fewer guest than booked. We asked several times at the reception desk if they could deduct the cost of breakfast from the bill, as we had one person fewer using breakfast each day. The reception staff, however friendly, kept us waiting for a resolution, which was frustrating. Due to the lack of a response, we eventually asked the manager if he could help us. He offered us a gesture that only compensated us for a third of the cost. It's a shame that it took so much effort to get a response, and that it was so disappointing. Together with the comments mentioned above, this leaves us with mixed feelings about the hotel. The location is fine, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. However, the reception does not stick to agreements made and does not come across as reliable, the hotel (except for the restaurant) is quite dated, the cleaning staff regularly forget things, and the hygiene (of the bedding and towels) left something to be desired. As a result, we will think twice before staying here again.

Just got back from an awesome trip to Bangkok with my sister, her husband, and a family friend. We stayed at Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 from November 23-27 and honestly, this place was fantastic.
First off, the location is perfect. We could walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see and do, which was so convenient. No dealing with long commutes or anything like that - just step out and you're right in the middle of everything.
The staff here were genuinely lovely, and should mention Oui and Pean who were outstanding. Super friendly, always smiling, and really helpful whenever we needed anything. It's those little touches that make a big difference, you know?
The hotel itself? Magnificent. Clean, comfortable, and just a really nice place to come back to after a long day of exploring the city.
If you're heading to Bangkok, definitely check out Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18. Great location, great people, great experience all around. We loved it!

Location - good, quiet area. Metro is a short walk. Malls are about 10-15 walk too that was nice.

Food - breakfast options were very limited but the ambience of the restaurant was nice.

Service - Breeze was really accommodating and helpful. She's approachable and helped me with my requests. The 2 concierge/bell boys were also super helpful in carrying my luggage to and from the room and car. They also helped me locate an item I had asked to keep in the freezer/kitchen but went missing when I tried to retrieve it. Overall, service is really good at this hotel

Wifi - was a bit slow and fluctuating in my floor

Stayed for 4 nights. Room was comfortable and cleaned well. The price is good for a branded hotel. The pool on the roof was nice and bee one of the staff there was very welcoming and super efficient. Great stay.

The hotel was clean and peaceful. All staff Breeze, Tangmo, Noei, Dear, Wat and Jai gave me a warm welcome, and happily answered all my questions. For the breakfast there was a wide selection of yoghurts, fruits and Thai specialities. The location of the hotel is within a walking distance from the main street and popular 7/11. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We've been staying at Park Plaza at least once per year for over 10 years, including 2021 when Thailand was reopening under strict quarantine requirements. This was partly due to the location but mainly because the breakfasts and staff were good. We even became Raddison members.

For a couple of years now we've been disappointed with the breakfasts & concerned that the staff seemed less happy. This year, however, the breakfasts were really poor with the now limited range of hot dishes often at room temperature. Pretty surprising for what appears to be new management proclaiming their cooking credentials.

Worse, however, was the terrible smell from the drains in the room and the telling response to the question "can you maybe do something about the smell".

Rather than we'll go check the unsmiling "we can spray it or you can change room" clearly indicated the problem was already known in which case why offer the toxic room In the first place.

Having opted to move, as opposed to replacing one type of toxic smell with another, we found used insoles from a previous client under the bed leading us to wonder if it had even been cleaned.

Then in the new room, which mercifully did not smell, the toggle for switching the shower from hand held to overhead shot out under pressure from the water.

Shame we used to recommend Park Plaza to friends.

I am very pleased with my stay here so far 2 more nights to go, but I want to let this hotel know that I have stayed at many international hotel in my travels in travels and have always relied on the concierge service to assist with my stays but the head concierge person here was among the best I’ve ever experienced he was so warming thoughtful and knowledgeable on everything just about everything that was asked he definitely has 5 star hotel quality about him. He’s a tremendous asset to your hotel!

This our 4th stay in this great hotel. Best opción in Bangkok. The location and rooms are excellent but their best is the staff.
Persons like Feiya, Noei, Bombae, Tangmo and Namdrel make the difference for staying in any hotel. They helped us a lot.
We will return to this hotel each time we go to Bangkok.
