Comfortable bed, great breakfast, very friendly staff
The air fresheners in the building are terrible, also the smoking in the lobby. There were a few power outages.
Service and hospitality were outstanding. Welcome greating feels me like come back to my home sweet home. The best hospitality in Samarinda City I ever have in Samarinda City.
The are to improve is restaturant, food quality and temperature is below expectation.
The hotel is luxurious. They have meeting hall on the top floor. Nice cafe is located at lobby, opens until 1 am. We can enjoy live music and live sport matches here. Amelia is one of the friendly staff here, but I didn't see her at my last 2 visits.
The 12th floor is equipped with pool, sauna, fitness center, and spa. I'd like to mention some very good employees: Bella Annisa, Syahrida Agustina, and Putra Aditya.
Breakfast is awesome.
The shared entrance with the Mall.
Breakfast was Indonesian.
No western bread (only dry cheap Indonesian bread).
For the cheap dry Indonesian bread was no good quality cheese available (only cheap cheddar cheese).
No good quality meat available for the cheap dry Indonesian bread.
For Indonesian and Asian guests the breakfast might be great but European guests don't eat rice, potatoes and noodles for breakfast. Doesn't this hotel have European guests?
The photo on booking.com shows a bathtub but we got a room with a shower.
WhatsApp messages were not answered on time and nobody picked up the phone. We received an offer via WhatsApp after more than 12 hours of Rp 1.5 million for two nights including breakfast. Because we didn't receive a message on time we booked the room via booking.com and paid about Rp 1.520 EXCLUDING breakfast for two nights. Booking.com mentions a breakfast rate of Rp. 127.000. We booked a room for two persons, the breakfast rate doesn't mention that Rp. 127.000 is per person. Hence, we had to pay 4 x Rp. 127.000 = Rp. 508.000 EXTRA just because people are unwilling to answer WhatsApp messages and pick up the phone. We complained about this. The stupid standard answer was: "Maaf mister". :-(
The breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and communicative. The room is clean and comfortable. The wifi is good. The hotel is connected to the mall. It's overall strategic.
The fridge isn't working...
Staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. Very good breakfast with many options. Very strategic location.
The rooms badly need renovation and the air conditioning system needs renewal. Almost no sound-proofing whatsoever Smoking areas must be properly separated - indoor smooking is a no-go without separating walls.
