It was a horrible experience
Pros:

Location great, and rooms cleans.

Cons:

The Ac didn’t work through out had to come downstairs 4 times to complain and they later gave me a small fan but the room was so hot so couldn’t rest. It was bad horrible experience for me when I needed to rest but ended worse than when I came.

It was great staying at Clayton. I would definitely go back again.

Very close to train station and everything in the city. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing much. Maybe put another bin beside the toilet and toilet cleaner/brush.

Pros:

Great location. Cardiff Castle within 10 minutes walk.
Main train station within 4 minutes, practically outside the station.
All the eatery and bars on the doorstep. Never a dull moment...lol.
Breakfast was ok for the price

Cons:

Shower wasnt the greatest but it was 1 night so cant really complain

Poor staff.

Location was great

Cons:

Paid for an executive suite, then I was put in a basic room with no compensation, paid for a later checkout then was woken up by room phone and constant door knocks, the staff member that dealt with us could barely speak English and had a shit attitude. That will be the last time we stay at the Clayton hotel Cardiff. We will go back to the Hilton hotel where the service is better.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly was able to get into my room 3 hours before check in time so that was a nice surprise! Room was so clean probably one of the most cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, bed was extremely comfortable the snacks and water in the fridge was a lovely touch

Cons:

We had our room on a Saturday night and we was on the 6th floor room 606 if you’re a light sleeper I would suggest getting a room round the back of the hotel as you can hear music and outside noise till early hours of the morning, luckily this didn’t stop us from sleeping! Also stayed Sunday night and was so much quieter and had such a nice peaceful sleep

Astounding Staff. Lovely room. And an impressive bar.
Pros:

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very suitable, the hotel itself was very nice. We felt underdressed for how fancy it was 🤣. Clean, value for money and phenomenal experience. We will be returning later in the year.

Cons:

Not a complaint as much, just some confusion. The TV channels stopped working around 1:30am. Don't know if that's just an issue with our TV? We were watching something and it cut off. Not upset Just confused. Other than that no issues
