NOT 4 Stars.
Pros:

After staying, I am extremely surprised that this hotel is supposedly ranked a 4-Star hotel, and even more surprised at the reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. I did not have such an experience.

The room itself was average. There was a stale smell of cigarettes around the room, possibly from the vents. Noise travels very easily from the hallways and room to room. In my bathroom, you could hear the faint sound of a radio being played. Music. As if someone lost their AM/FM radio between the walls and just left it there. It was audible all hours. Very weird. There may or may not have been construction work in a nearby room. The sink makes a loud and long gurgling sound after water is run. However, the shower is very nice, and bed overall comfortable.

Initially, my internet did not work and there wasn't a lot of solution from the desk staff. Eventually, I figured out it was a combination of custom DNS servers I had previously set up on my laptop, combined with the hotel's network not allowing for that.

I would liken Clayton Hotel to a fairly bog-standard hotel chain. Nothing special.

Very good location and amenities good with pleasant helpful staff.
Pros:

I like the Clayton hotels as always get the same standard regardless of where you go.
The rooms are spacious you always get bottles water left and staff are always very pleasant and helpful

Pleasant stay at a great location.
Pros:

Awesome location, friendly staff.

Cons:

There was no window opening available in the room on the top floor. It got fairly dusty. High shelves of the wardrobe were dusty. Also the sink drain was getting noisy after the shower or other water splash... but overall these were details.

Brilliant hotel
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel, reception was very nice, the hotel way very tall, but IOC's on the third floor. Rooms are very clean, excellent service on everything, and they also have wheelchair accessible rooms too. The atmosphere of the bar and the restaurant was great, and so was breakfast. I would definitely give the hotel a five stars, it was also my first time in Wales, but everyone speaks English there. Brilliant

Excellent Staff Service
Pros:

We have used this venue for training purposes over the last 3 years. The level
of service we receive from the staff along with the warm friendly welcome is always outstanding . Particular thanks to events coordinator Prisca and catering supervisor Gina who always go above and beyond in their role and duties to help and support .
