Just spot on for us …. Perfect setting and Spa a welcomed addition
Pros:

Whilst a taxi ride to Zadar is required, good rates can be obtained booking through reception and you can sort return journeys through them nothing too much trouble. Room overlooking the sea was comfortable and kept clean, bathroom large and shower amazing. Kristie hostess with mostest had the biggest smile and remembered us from the first moment we spoke making meal times a joy. Food quality was excellent and dining room spacious, our drinks waitress was also lovely but sorry didn’t get her name. Overall the staff across the hotel were lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough and if you get a chance try out the alacart restaurant not over pricy great quality and again really welcoming… overall a lovely weeks stay and couldn’t thank the people of Croatia more.

Good but service should be better
Pros:

We stayed for 5 nights in mid/late September. Although out of peak summer season the hotel was still busy, especially with several large conference groups and coach tours (who we felt got preferential service).
Overall the stay was good, but it could have been better.
We had a deluxe room (without a sea view which was my mistake when booking). The room was smart, a reasonable size and comfortable, but the shower room was cramped and the air conditioning never quite cooled the room enough. The access from reception to the bedroom wing (including the lifts) felt like we were in a service area and not appealing. The reception area though which includes the "Pine bar" was very modern and stylish, but given the size of the hotel and number of guests there wasn't enough seating in the bar or enough people serving.
Food at breakfast and dinner was good and the dining area was smart, but quite noisy. There was a wide range (although not sure about vegetarian options), it was tasty and it was kept hot (unlike at some buffets we've experienced). The problem was that almost everyone went to dinner at about 7pm, meaning that it was extremely busy and hard to find a seat and not enough staff taking drinks orders, so service was slow. We tried eating later but the food options were noticeably reduced after 8pm and drinks service was no better.
The pools were both nice, although we initially found both hard to find with different access routes and bad signage. The outdoor pool was nicely warm and had great views, but there was no service offered and spare towels were only available at the indoor pool.
Overall the hotel has lots of good facilities and was reasonable value, but compared to other hotels we've stayed at, the service was not as good and could be improved.

Uncomfortable room with no window or balcony but food very good
Pros:

This hotel has great food and lovely pools,
Be very careful on booking rooms.]My room had no open view as the tiny window had a permanent closed shutter, It smelt damp and was very cold and claustrophobic as no natural daylight. i was ttld no other rooms were available which was obviously
not true as other people did change rooms.
I asked the following morning to be told rooms with opening windows and balconies were for the elderly and disabled! I am 84 and have mobility issues.
The reception were quire rude and no help give to carry a case up an unlit fliught of 10 steps, one day the room was not serviced.
Make sure the room is what you wnt before booking,

Beautiful place for a vacation
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel for a week and it was such a nice and relaxing place! It is a place perfect for both families and couples, there are various activities every day but the water temperature is quite low. Also a downside of this place is that it is that getting into the water on the private beach can be a little difficult,

Pros:

The Hotel was not what I expected. I was hopeful for more dining options and a nicer beach experience. The fact that we had to pay for lounge chairs if we wanted it after paying such high hotel rates was a lot.

Highly recommended, rest, relax and recharge.
Pros:

We stayed 4 nights, wonderful hotel to rest, relax and recharge in. Great service in the bar and restaurant. Welcoming staff on reception and a great pool and private beach to relax at. All the staff at reception were wonderful, very friendly and helpful, particularly Filip who told us all about Nin, which we thoroughly enjoyed and visited on his recommendation. We have no hesitation to recommend this hotel.

Huge Thanks to the Animation Team
Pros:

We would like to give our sincere compliments to the animation team at the hotel.
Thank you for your patience, creativity, and the wonderful care you showed to the children. Our kid was happy, safe, and entertained every single day. The program was very well-organized, full of fun activities and positive energy. The animators managed to keep the children engaged while also giving us time to relax.
We are truly grateful and would definitely recommend this kids’ program to other families. :)
With our panda, we will definitely be coming back! 🐼

Pros:

Overall really very good
At check in we were told subbed where chargeable - luckily we had an email that told us ours were included - something about the date being 15/06 as chargeable - season change ? Otherwise that would have added €25 per day ! I do think hotels should not charge staying guests to use a facility ! I understand charging a day visitor
Overall a great place - just that minor thing that luckily we resolved (by saving the messages !)

Well worth a visit.
Pros:

Having stayed there 12 years ago my second visit was as good as the first. A family friendly hotel set in large grounds on a peninsular. Pebble beaches, play areas and various places to eat. Friendly bar staff. Buffet style meals of good quality and plenty of choices. The only downside this time was not the hotel's fault but due to the extensive road works in the vicinity making it difficult for the coach.

Great Hotel
Pros:

This is a fabulous hotel in a nice location. Can walk to Restaurants, convenience stores, and bars. Also, there is a Winery that you can walk, ride your bike or drive too. Easy to get to the town of Zadar to see the Sea Organ. Would stay here again!!!

Pros:

Amazing Experience at Pinija Hotel
I had a truly wonderful stay at the Pinija Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. The food was excellent with a great variety at every meal—there was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and delicious. The facilities were top-notch, especially the wellness spa, which was a highlight of our trip. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!

Fabulous winter break
Pros:

We stayed at the Hotel Pinija in November 24 for a few nights and had the most amazing time. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are courteous and friendly and can't do enough for you. We stayed in a suite with a sea view and cannot recommend it enough, there was a separate lounge area and lots of space which made our stay very comfortable. The food was very high quality and there was plenty of choice. We like to eat healthily even on holiday so we were pleased to see lots of vegetables and fruit as well as lots of local dishes to choose from. We visited the indoor pool and spa area every night and it was lovely with a really good sauna, stream room and relaxation rooms. The spa had a sea view too which was a special touch. The atmosphere at the hotel was great as there were some coach trips making it lively in the evenings but still relaxing. We loved the hotel and Petrecane area and Zadar area so we will definitely be coming back at some point. The weather was warm enough to wear shorts and sunbathe for an hour or two so great time to go for a relaxing winter break.

Great hotel
Pros:

The hotel is very modern and stylish, located in such a beautiful location, very quite and picturesque.
Plenty of food for breakfast and dinner, drink prices a bit too high.
Rooms are being cleaned everyday and the housekeeping team is very friendly and helpful.
The reception staff were happy to help and we even got a room with a sea view without paying any extra for a sea view!
The only complaint was that the sunbeds on the beach could have been for free.
We had a good time there and we would recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Quiet location on headland adjacent to sea. Some building work in grounds in progress (new conference centre) with crane and some associated noise but not intrusive - September 2024)
Good buffet breakfast.
Short stroll into Petrcane bay with a handful of small bars and restaurants open.
Regular nightly entertainment in bar / main public space area, so noisy and difficult to avoid without sitting outside.
Not impressed by attention to cleanliness in room / bathroom during and between stay.
Staff friendly.
Tip: Ask hotel to arrange taxi transfers - €55 to/from Zadar airport - as we had to pay €85 from airport (after initial quote of €100.
