Pros:

De voorzieningen op de kamer zijn prima, het is van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijk en attent personeel. Ruime parkeergelegenheid. Het ontbijt was echt uitstekend, een zeer uitgebreid buffet met verse en zeer smakelijke etenswaren. Bovendien werd het steeds goed bijgehouden en aangevuld door het personeel. Een van de beste hotelontbijten die ik heb gehad in Duitsland.

Cons:

De kamer is een beetje klein, met name de badkamer is krap, maar alles paste er precies in.

Pros:

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit- wir mussten unser Zimmer tauschen da das Schloss der Zimmertür nicht funktionierte. Leider gab es aber keine Entschuldigung oder wenigstens eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses. Sonst war alles gut 👍🏻

Cons:

Wie in vielen Badezimmern in Hotels gibt es leider kaum/ keine Abstellmöglichkeiten für die Kosmetik- für Frauen leider sehr wichtig 😉

Pros:

Locatie: dichtbij Phantasialand, na een dagje rondlopen in Phantasialand ben je blij dat je dichtbij een goed hotel hebt.
Lekker gegeten 's avonds in het restaurant.
Ontbijt is zalig.
Personeel super vriendelijk.
De kamergrootte viel wat tegen maar voor één nachtje is dit zeker te doen.

Great Value!
Pros:

I booked this hotel initially expecting a basic experience, based on its price and some mid reviews on here. This hotel exceeded my expectations.
The location was great, a 5 minute drive from Phantasialand and 25 mins to Cologne centre. The pharmacy next door was very useful, as well as the Netto.
The rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures. It was nice and quiet. My only problem was the 'double bed' was technically 2 single mattresses, however I feel this is simply a German thing. The room and bathroom were really clean. The atmosphere was pleasant - I spent some time in the lobby waiting for taxis and food.

The included breakfast was fantastic - they had so much choice, from herbal teas down to the type of honey. The quality really surprised me. When I was ill, the staff prepared a tray of delicious breakfast items for my boyfriend to bring up. I really appreciated it.

The service was amazing. Small details really matter - the little haribo packet on my pillow was a nice touch. Housekeeping were friendly, always saying hello. The reception staff really stood out to me. Upon arrival, I had a problem with my payment method. They simply told me "You are here for 3 days, take your time and pay later on."

The service of one staff member really stood out to me. I didn't catch his name, but he had long hair. He was happy to speak English, and was eager to go above and beyond for us during our stay. When the Ubers were all booked up for Phantasialand, he called us a local taxi, ensuring it had a card machine. I really appreciate good customer service, and his attitude was great.

Should I ever return to the area, I will definitely stay here!
