Our recent 2-night stay at Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh was a beautiful blend of comfort, thoughtful design, and heartfelt hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—warm, attentive, and effortlessly impeccable. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed back.

We booked a corner suite on the 16th floor, and it exceeded all expectations. The space was generous and intelligently laid out, with double closets that easily accommodated our large suitcases, carry-ons, and wardrobe—a rare luxury even among five-star properties. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed Phnom Penh in the most breathtaking way, offering sweeping views of the city’s evolving skyline and historic landmarks.

Evenings at the rooftop pool and bar became a ritual—soaking in the views as the city transitioned from day to night.

But what truly made this stay memorable was breakfast. It was more than a meal—it was a rediscovery of flavors we deeply missed. From classic Cambodian breakfast staples to an impressive spread of breads, pastries, and fresh fruits, every detail was thoughtfully curated. A special highlight was trying lort noodles served as a soup for the first time, upon the chef’s recommendation—simple, comforting, and unforgettable. The live hot stations added an interactive, vibrant touch that made each morning something to look forward to.

The hotel’s location is another strong advantage—within easy reach of cultural and lifestyle destinations such as the National Museum of Cambodia, nearby art galleries, the boutiques along Street 240, and the ever-busy Central Market.

This stay reminded us why we love Phnom Penh—and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel again.

Excellent stay in a great BKK location. The staff was wonderful, and we enjoyed the nice view from our room. The executive lounge with small refreshments is a big plus, and the pool area is very relaxing.

Hotel is relatively new and I have stayed there 4-5 times over the past few years. Whilst all rooms are good, I opt for an executive room as I prefer a larger room. I have no issue with the room at all - very comfortable. The exec club is a bit basic and not very big. The one thing I object to is that some guests reserve a table (perhaps they think they are better then the rest of the guests!). As I mentioned, the club is small with seemingly a number of single guests so when a table(s) is/are reserved and left idle for sometimes an hour, it is an inconvenience to other guests. I just left as I was not going to sit at a table made up for four as a single as that would be rude of me! The breakfast is good and the staff throughout the hotel are very attentive and friendly. The staff at the coffee shop on the ground floor are excellent and make a nice coffee 👍.
I did have a room mix up on arrival and Noemie sorted that out for me the following morning. Very efficient. Breakfast has everything you would require and again the staff are extremely attentive and will recognise you after a couple of days - all very welcoming.
Hotel is in a good location with convenience stores a block away and the Central Market at the end of the street ~10-15min walk.

I had a fantastic experience Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh, which I chose primarily for its prime location and Marriott management. As a Bonvoy elite member having visited quite a number of Courtyard hotels within Southeast Asia, I would consider this property among the best and it well exceeded my expectation. Location-wise, it was situated right at the heart of Phnom Penh and many tourist attractions were within easy reach by either walk or a short car ride. From the moment I arrived, Savanah impressed me with her professionalism and friendliness. She and the rest of the front office team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless, pleasant and enjoyable. I was assigned a high-floor corner executive room as requested - serene, comfy, spacious, brightly illuminated and contemporarily designed. The room layout was very much on the practical side, making it desirable for business people and seasoned travellers. The breakfast was surprisingly fulfilling, with extensive selections of hot items, eggs, pastries, salads, fresh fruits, juices and else which brightened up my day. The grant of complimentary access to various cocktails, pastries and pre-dinner hot canapés as well as all-day drinks and snacks to Bonvoy elite members at the executive lounge was another absolute delight. The Loyalty Manager, Kosal, and the loyalty / guest experience team truly devoted themselves to perfecting guest satisfaction at all times, and their attention to my preferences did not go unnoticed. Given the top-notch services at a fairly reasonable pricing, this was probably one of the best deals I have ever got on accommodation in Cambodia.

Excellent stay while traveling through the area. Hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was delicious with some of the best pastries we’ve had and a nice egg station! The gym had everything needed for a good workout. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed the roof top bar. It had an incredible sunset view and the bartender was great!
