We have noticed a cigarette smell in our rooms. As a smoke-free hotel, we expect this issue to be addressed immediately.

Excellent stay while traveling through the area. Hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was delicious with some of the best pastries we’ve had and a nice egg station! The gym had everything needed for a good workout. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed the roof top bar. It had an incredible sunset view and the bartender was great!
Pool bar and restaurant had good quality food and lovely views.
The reception area could be a bit more welcoming. I was mistakenly dropped off at another hotel and the staff there immediately offloaded bags from the car.
Staff response and facilities
All the staff were very courteous, hospitable, and knowledgeable. My room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was diverse and excellent.
Once again, the Courtyard in Phnom Penh did not disappoint! I stayed for about a week while on business in Cambodia. The staff--from the front desk/lobby, to housekeeping, to restaurant and lounge--are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Even with lounge access, the cost of accommodations was reasonable. Finally, the Courtyard is an easy Grab ride or walk to restaurants, shopping, my meetings, and points of interest. Kudos to all the staff for the warm welcome--I will be back!

I arrived at the Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh in November 2024 for a brief two-week visit. Today, more than a year later, I am still here, and I have just committed to another year. No statement could more powerfully convey the extraordinary hold this property has on its guests.
As a Titanium Bonvoy member (soon to be Ambassador), my life for the past five years has been a tapestry woven from stays in the world’s finest Marriott properties—from the towering opulence of the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai to the serene luxury of Le Meridien and Conference centre. I mention this not for prestige, but to provide a crucial benchmark: despite its official four-star designation, the service culture here is nothing short of phenomenal, rivaling and often surpassing that of its five-star brethren.
The magic begins at the top. General Manager Sarah is a visionary leader and a force of nature. Her commitment to excellence is palpable in every corner of the hotel, but her personal investment in her guests’ success is truly rare. She and Assistant Manager Noemie have been instrumental in my business endeavors. With their phenomenal local connections and genuine desire to help, they have opened doors and facilitated introductions that have been invaluable. Their assistance has been a godsend not only for me but also for my associates visiting from the USA and India. This is hospitality that extends far beyond the lobby.
Yet, while this business support is an incredible bonus, the real reason I have made this my home is the daily experience—a symphony of details too numerous to fully capture.
The service is first-class, consistently and universally. Every single member of staff is impeccably trained, courteous, and radiates a warm, proactive desire to help. They don’t just perform duties; they anticipate needs and go out of their way—often quite literally—to ensure guest happiness. The atmosphere they create is one of belonging.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, a testament to a diligent and unseen team. The meals are delicious, varied, and presented with care. A standout figure is Food and Beverage Manager Ravi, who operates with the attentive, personalized grace of a butler, remembering preferences and ensuring every dining experience is perfect.
At the helm of guest arrivals and logistics is Front Office Manager Borith, an exceptional professional whose calm efficiency and friendly demeanor set the tone for every stay. I witness returning guests from all corners of the globe, and I am convinced this loyal patronage is directly attributable to Sarah’s senior team: diligent, friendly, and utterly devoted.
In essence, this is a 4-star hotel that delivers 5-star service and a 7-star feeling of being at home. I am not just accommodated; I am wanted. I am not just a guest; I am part of a community. The team under General Manager Sarah’s exceptional leadership is a well-oiled machine powered by genuine heart.
To Sarah, Noemie, Ravi, Borith, and every single member of staff from housekeeping to concierge: you have my deepest gratitude. You have created more than a hotel; you have created a sanctuary and a springboard. This is not just my second home—it is my haven in Phnom Penh.

Gorgeous hotel with an epic rooftop pool and bar. A bed so comfy you don't want to get up and very friendly staff!
The shower constantly leaked...then I realized they had it plugged...not sure what that's even for?

Executive Large Corner Room 1206 was very spacious, very modern and at excellent condition.
Breakfast buffet is very good on the 1st floor.
Executive lounge on level 20 has a very good food and refreshing drinks at the evening snack time.
Very good gym and swimming pool at level 20.
