Barceló Portinatx - Adults Only

Wonderful from start to finish. Attention to detail was impressive, pretty looking hotel, tremendous service, fantastic management (Tania Fernandez), great food selection, lovely location, staff were helpful (Scott and others), polite and happy. The Barcelo Portinatx is the last hotel at the end, by a beautiful cove and tranquil beach very close by with the charismatic Carlos, who will provide music, cocktails, sunbeds and shade. Plenty of restaurants serving tasty food nearby. The Barcelo Portinatx has a chilled and cool vibe - great for adults. Complimentary drinks and an unexpected bottle of Cava and chocolates on arrival for our wedding anniversary. Above all else the friendly staff, led by Tania, made our holiday at Barcelo Portinatx a complete joy. Two lovely pools and pool bar serving great food and cocktails is heaven. Again the staff were excellent, very attentive and lovely. The rooms are spacious for two persons, lovely shower and very comfy bed and sea views were lovely. Everything you need in a room. Cleaning and replenishment of room towels etc was excellent. Lovely bar and bar staff with entertainment in the evenings and health events in the mornings. Wellness treatments and an outside gym are available. Really cannot fault anything. We came just at the end of Sept and Portinatx was quiet and chilled. Perfect for us and we would come back in a heartbeat. Lots to do outside of the hotel too. The hippie market in the chic San Joan De Labritja is close by and easy

2nd time here and the staff are what make it such a good place to holiday. Super friendly and efficient. They can't do enough for you. Poolside, more sunloungers than guests so nobody is ever chasing around for somewhere to relax

The maintenance is pretty poor. Just in our room. None of the USB ports worked, the aircon sensor on the door was faulty so we had to prod with a coat hanger every time the door was opened and closed, the back door lock didn't work, the ceiling fan banged on every rotation and got louder each time so couldn't use it and the phone in room didn't work. All pretty small but all in one room was not what was expected and easily fixable, the main thing was the aircon sensor which had obviously been botched before by the selotape on it! All were reported on day one so hopefully they got sorted after we checked out.

The only bad thing it was the parking area i think you just need to manage it good and also make the street there . Bec it was always bad to find parking. But every thing else was so good and we really enjoyed it so much

Perfect for a quiet beach holiday, friendly, professional staff, two pools, relaxed and easy going. We loved it.

Great Hotel & Perfect Quiet Location

Hotel very clean and staff incredibly polite and friendly. Breakfast very good with large choice of fresh foods. The location is just perfect with a lovely mix of beach/pool & restaurants. Very close to a lovely beach/bay with a few exceptional restaurants close by (the Hotels restaurant on the beach - "Magical" is well worth a visit!) Our stay couldn't have been better!

The hotel was nice, the location was perfect, but the attention to details was not on par with the price. The room was not thoroughly cleaned every day, it was tough to find pool towels, etc.

Rustige ligging, schitterende kamer, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt.

Locatie is redelijk afgelegen, wel erg mooi.

Parkeren op een heuvel met gaten en sleuven in het zand en de stenen is wel een uitdaging.

Het hotel ligt prachtig. Kamer met uitzicht op zee biedt mooi uitzicht. Het personeel is supervriendelijk. Eten bij de pool-bar is van hoge kwaliteit. Ook de cocktails zijn goed. All-inclusive formule werkt prima en is het geld waard.
Hotel raakt wel op sommige punten wel wat in verval. De douche lekt en is aan vernieuwing toe. Ook de handdoeken waren regelmatig versleten. Het personeel compenseert alles echter compleet!! Dank Luca, Roxy en Ana!!! Tot de volgende keer.

Le sejour s'est bien passé, le lit n'a été fait me 2ème jour. La vue mer était moyenne et le repas du 2ème nuit était très moyen.

This is a fabulous hotel, the service was excellent, the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel across the sea are beautiful and the location is perfect, it’s just a 10 minute walk to the main restaurants and also to the main beach (there are 3). The ambience is very chilled and the decor in the hotel is perfect white Ibiza style with natural materials. Oh and there is a very friendly and gentle resident cat! Perfect in every way!

Adults only hotel that was mainly quiet around the pool areas, however, at certain times of the day there was noise coming from a block of apartments overlooking the 'quiet' pool. I'm not sure if this was staff residence or general public but children playing and shouting (not a problem to me but might be for those that want absolute 'Adults Only'. Also dogs barking and fighting and residence chatting/debating (noice carried) on their balconies. Food was good. I especially liked the food at the pool bar. All staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful rocky beach location.

Wir haben besonders den Ausblick von unserem Zimmer geliebt. Zudem muss man den Service des gesamten Teams loben. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Hotel was great, staff were friendly and always very helpful. Pool was nice and the hotel is a stones throw from the beach. Very quiet location. Could do with a bit more entertainment in the evenings and the veggie options are pretty limited in the evening meals but I would stay here again.

Amazing experience - we had an outdoor jacuzzi room which was incredible with views to die for but our stay would not have been the same if not for the loveliest guest relations staff member I have ever met! Mell - you made our trip and my birthday extra special ... I loved how Mell checked on all the guests - but also on the staff which, on the Sunday, were extra busy and of course Mell was there helping in the restaurant! Breakfast was delicious and tasty every single day! Ruben (reception) and the Concierge boys (only know one name - Michael) were also super helpful and friendly. A great break away - I can't wait to return!

Quiero expresar mi profunda insatisfacción con mi reciente estancia en el hotel BARCELÓ IBIZA. Mi reserva original no fue respetada y, a pesar de solicitar un reembolso o la habitación reservada, me ofrecieron un supuesto “upgrade” que resultó ser un engaño. Me hicieron esperar hasta varias horas perdiendo el día y recibí la habitación de las 2 que llegue a las 9:00pm para el check-in, claramente para evitar que pudiera contactar a un supervisor o cancelar ya que era imposible hacerlo. Desafortunadamente antes de la situación descrita ya había pagado por este mismo medio una noche más y mismo tema.

El personal de recepción nocturno fue muy grosero, sin ofrecer solución alguna. Tuve que cargar mis maletas a una habitación en el último piso, enfrentándome a múltiples escaleras, sin que funcionara el ascensor y sin asistencia, a pesar de mis problemas de espalda.
La habitación estaba: el jacuzzi del “upgrade” no funcionaba solicité cama king size y unieron dos camas matrimoniales de mala calidad. A pesar de mis reiteradas quejas en el lugar la supervisora que prometió mejorar la situación simplemente volvió a engañarme para esta noche y pasé lo mismo.

Exijo el reembolso completo debido a esta experiencia negativa y el trato poco ético recibido. Este tipo de prácticas no solo dañan la reputación de su hotel, sino también la de plataformas como Expedia o el hotel, no cumplen ambos con las expectativas mínimas de su cliente. Es un fraude este lugar. Espero su pronta respuesta.

Lovely stay , nice quiet area , plenty of places to eat and drink outside of the hotel

Awesome hotel with the best staff in the best location. The hotel was modern clean and light and the staff couldn’t do enough for you they were all great. Breakfast was superb with many options and the food from the pool bars was great too with the service excellent. A really fantastic hotel which made my birthday trip away with friends the best !

We purposefully chose the adults only hotel as we wanted to experience the more chilled part of Ibiza and we weren't disappointed. Barcelo Portinatx is beautifully situated at the end of the road with a lovely clean beach and smaller coves nearby (oh the sunsets are beautiful!). We had to change a room early on due to a technical problem but the move was dealt with within 30 minutes which was amazing. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean with some amenities like toiletries and coffee and tea making facilities. We went All Inclusive and the food was great, large but not obscene choice for breakfast and dinner and with lovely menu in the pool bar (the gazpacho is to die for). As we were there during Euro 2024 the drinks were flowing and the selection was great and so was the atmosphere. The pool areas are nice and quiet, you can always find a sunlounger. There was some background music and on occasion live singers. I cannot praise the staff enough, very helpful, smiling and friendly. We hired a car as it's worth exploring other nearby coves and towns. We also hired a small boat near the hotel to explore the coastline and go snorkelning. Overall amazing, relaxing, stress and hassle free stay and we would not hesitate to return.
