The positive: quiet, comfortable room. Clean and bright en suite. Reception welcoming.
The negative: mould and peeling wallpaper in bedroom, overall damp smell throughout corridors, spa out of order, damp cereal boxes at breakfast and no Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit or homemade granola provided. All windows need cleaning. Obviously any attention to detail not a priority.
Not much. Location for my wedding.
- we had to be moved rooms when we arrived due to the smell in the room.
- I booked a meal for a large group the night before my wedding for 7.30pm. No one was at the table and then bought the food out at 7.25pm, with no one sitting down!
- the spa was shut, some people got a free breakfast, some got nothing, some were told to cancel and rebook for a better price, but then they said they couldn’t.

We liked that we got upgraded to a suite, but unfortunately it was because the spa was closed.
It was also very local to a wedding we attended nearby.
The decor was tired and there were lots of staff (who were nice) on their phones. The spa being closed was very disappointing. The food was ok, but quite expensive for wit it was.

Hotel needed lots of repairs- holes in. Walls, broken mirrors in room,, heating wouldn't turn off, air conditioning and fan didn't work, spa closed ,no lift ,no rails on stairs (disabled) , drove past hotel as no lights by signs

Staff were friendly and helpful
The spa was closed and we were only informed the day before so to time to re arrange our stay.

Looking tired in some areas
Hotel was in a good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean and quite spacious.
Unfortunately, the hotel is looking and feeling very tired. Decor, fittings etc need updating. Spa was closed. The net curtain in our bedroom was split /torn from top to bottom, radiator in the bathroom was leaking and had to be wrapped in a towel. Breakfast was average - no butter, only fruit was some water melon which looked as if it had been there a while, bacon was very crispy, poor tea and coffee facilities. Only 1 member of staff on duty.
Bed was very comfy and the breakfast was nice
The spa was closed and it was on the dirty side. Needs a bit of TLC
