Good hotel, nice surroundings. Staff friendly. Room spacious and comfortable bed.
Pros:

Great location. Liked you could walk along the river.
Lovely hotel. Room was very nice. Clean and spacious.

Cons:

Breakfast was rather expensive, particularly thought £3.90 for a cup of tea was high, would have preferred a tea pot.

Not as good as previous stay !
Pros:

Location was good and room clean. Comfy bed.

Cons:

We have stayed before and room 74 was dark in corner where coffee etc was kept.
Disappointed in room think we stayed in room 70 before a lot better !

Lovely garden in Fantastic location. We would stay again!

we have stayed at the great house many times, inc receptions & functions , we wont be returning
Cons:

The entire room , wall doors , door frames , architraves , coving , everything was painted matt R.A.F. Blue grey ,couples with the terribly poor lighting made it the most depressing room ,
Two days no cleaning service.
The Coppa club ,food and service was terrible .

We had a wonderful stay for my partners 50th
Pros:

I loved the room and bathroom, and the lovely restaurant garden.

Cons:

The only issue we had was the toilet flush was pretty weak!

Disappointing, staff member let it down, couldn’t get food from anywhere.

When we checked in we were told we couldn’t book breakfast as they had no room, which is disappointing as you are a guest at their hotel, the last time we stayed (which was about a month before) the lady on reception who checked us in was so lovely, this time the member of staff was rather abrupt and rude, when we asked if we could order room service or order food from restaurant she said no, we told her we did last time she said you could ask at the bar for takaway but
it’s discretionary, that’s all she said. Considering in the room there’s a leaflet giving you a choice of food on a Takaway menu, to be told no but you could ask but it’s upto to the staff???
We were guests at their hotel and we couldn’t have food at all, no breakfast or evening meal. Literally a contrast to our stay the time before, very disappointing. The staff member at reception was very unhelpful, sadly will not be returning to this hotel, such a shame.
