Pros:

The location

Cons:

The mattress was very uncomfortable, as were the pillows, they were truly horrible.
The shower head was full of limescale, so water pressure was low.
There was black mould on the silicone in the shower.

Overall the room was very dated, and the price we paid way over £500 for two nights is unacceptable.

Great stay, lovely food, beautiful location, parking could be better
Pros:

Beautiful property and comfortable stay

Cons:

Could not access the bar late . Parking was minimal and lucky to find a spot - if I didn’t I’m not sure where I would have parked as an alternative? No reserved parking for guests which isn’t fair

A peaceful weekend break … exactly what we needed. Lovely riverside walks. Excellent service & food.
Pros:

Everything! Beautiful location. Gorgeous room and shower room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent food and service … all staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. A great stop-over location to and from Heathrow airport.
Pros:

Room and bathroom were nicely designed, modern and very clean.
The bar and restaurant was very spacious, modern and relaxing. Staff were very friendly. We wished we had more time to explore the area and the hotel facilities.

Pros:

Our rooms were lovely with a view of the river. We enjoyed the decor and retro finishing touches.

Rooms were a touch on the small side. Nothing else not to like!

Awful.
Pros:

Easy parking in a very busy village.

Cons:

The room was disappointing. It was on the first floor and not a garden room I expected. It was unbelievably hot, with only an old fashioned fan trying to circulate the hot air around. The noise was similar to an engine ticking over. Totally unpleasant. We packed up at 3am and drove home.

One night was enough . The evening meal at the hotel restaurant was very ordinary. Fish and chips not good
Pros:

The room was situated under the roof not opened we believe for a while. We couldn’t open restrained windows more than 15 cm. The temperature there was so hot couldn’t sleep until early morning.

A nice hotel with no visible management anywhere, Bedroom ill equipped for warm weather.
Pros:

location and common space décor.

Cons:

Room was unbearably hot.
Breakfast staff were unprofessional. No one seemed to be overseeing service. If there was a manager they must have been hiding. Half a hour wait for a cup of coffee. Orders with items missing.

Lovely house and wonderful staff, brilliant location.

Cons:

Food especially the drinks were way overpriced, because of that we didn't drink at the hotel, maybe it was ok for London visitors but when you come from a different part of the UK it wasn't.

Excellent on all counts
Pros:

We Were a large group with multiple rooms over different nights and a dinner for 14 which was looked after very well by the staff. The girl on reception was a bit grumpy on our arrival but the rest of the front desk staff were great. Could not have picked a better location for two 80th birthdays a 25 wedding anniversary and a 50th birthday celebration with family from Canada and Saudi and G.B.
