First of all the receptionist said they can’t find my booking despite I showed my booking number on my email and my payment and said they don’t even deal with hotels.com. Nor Expedia. I got very frustrated and delayed for a while after they called a manager he finally told me to give me a room as if it was by pity.
Too much light issues in this hotel. Sometimes every 15min. Anytime any person passes by my room I hear it and it disturbs my sleep…
It was OK!
Hotel is nice with reasonably comfortable rooms. I was initially given a room right over the kitchen which was noisy and smelly but they did move me to somewhere more comfortable. This room was ok although some drain smells at times!
Food was good including a nice breakfast each day.
Some staff need to learn basic politeness. A please or a thank you is so nice! Bringing me my bill whilst halfway through a drink and maybe when I want another drink hardly makes me feel welcome.
Checking out and paying your bill is a real trial. As with some other hotels in Nigeria, once a transaction is approved there is an attempt to then write down all the credit card details onto their computer leaving it wide open to fraud! Doesn’t need to happen as it is a hotel policy only and when you refuse miraculously there is no problem! STOP DOING IT PLEASE!
Good comfortable hotel with very nice rooms. Breakfast and most meals were good but a more varied room service menu would improve.
The check out procedures let the hotel down. Caught reception staff trying to input the whole of my cc number into their system after it had already been authorised. Totally unacceptable practice and needs to be stopped. When this pointed up got bad attitude which means won’t be returning!
They charged me twice (Hotels.com and the Bon Hotel Aosoko). I can’t get them to reverse the charge.
There was a lot of noisy movement on my floor (Third Floor) during my stay. It appeared that the workers were moving some heavy machines on the floor. This made a lot of noise. Otherwise, all was good
Great. Clean. Efficient. Friendly. Well maintained.
Management response to my earlier feedback is recommendable. Keep it up!
Great location
Clean, staff very pleasant and ready to help.
Nice room, attentive staff. However wifi was terrible... need to logon repeatedly, poor coverage (ok for laptops couldn't get wifi on my phone in my room).
The service was appalling, kept on messing up my reservation several times, couldn't get credit card reader to work, etc. Very slow Internet. Not recommended
The rooms themselves were fine. The service people were utterly incompetent. Internet very slow. Relatively safe neighborhood.
Very pleasant and excellent alternative to the other more expensive hotels in Abuja
The location is great but the management MUST consider changing the dusty mad musty rugs ASAP. A no-go for people who are allergic to wool/rug.
Hotel is overrated; staff mean well but lack training. Quality and choice of food is limited; food remains expensive compared to other hotels. Rooms are ok but internet service is very slow, at times very frustrating as you need to log in every time you use the internet.
The hotel was quite decent and my stay was comfortable.
