Rooms Upgrade Project
Construction will commence on site, 15 May 2024.
The project will be split in 5 phases of construction as per the image below.

Phase A 15 May - 14 June > 17 rooms in total (101 -117)
Phase B 14 June - 15 July > 17 rooms in total (118 - 134) 128 is Mock Room that is complete
Phase C 15 July - 12 August > 11 Rooms (235-245)
Phase D 12 August - 13 September > 11 Rooms (135-146)
Phase E 13 September - 11 November > 30 Rooms (300-329)

The anticipated date for completion of the last phase (10 rooms) of the project will be 11 November 2024Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Not sure if it’s affected by the floods but the pictures and reality was not what I expected

Wonderful stay at the Winkler
Pros:

The food was excellent. Very well prepared and exceptionally delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the facilities were excellent.

Cons:

The showers are tiny :( that was my only complaint. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable.

It was excellent. I wish we could have stayed longer.
Pros:

The staff was friendly..the receptionist Percy was so friendly together with her co worker, a gentleman whose name I didn't get.
Taelo helped us with our luggage and was friendly..breakfast was delicious, the restaurant staff was welcoming especially their manager ( also didn't get his name. They were always willing to help and were very warm.
The room was cleaned perfectly every single day.
The place is beautiful and child friendly. We didn't need to go out for entertainment since they have darts,chess, board games, swimming pool, out door play area, pool table and table tennis. A great place for bonding as a family.

Cons:

The WiFi was on and off. Not reliable.
