Pros:

The quietness and how close it was to the beach which was very clean. Well kept gardens. The size of the bungalow.

Cons:

The water in the shower was not hot. For us the beds were quite hard. We also found the prices of the restaurant to be quite high.

Great beach location for a family vacation
Pros:

The beach was amazing. It is huge and there was hardly anyone on it. My kids (ages 14 and 11) loved the waves. We even saw two sea turtles in the water while we were swimming. You have to pay attention to the tide times for swimming. The beach is smooth and sandy all the way out. The swimming pool is a bit dated but was great for our needs (when it wasn't the best time to swim in the ocean). There were always clean pool towels available. The rooms are well designed for families with a seating area made up into a single bed. The rooms were spacious and the little kitchenette was useful. The air conditioning and wifi worked well. Each room has its own little gated area so you have private outdoor space as well with some outdoor furniture. There were lots of hooks to hang towels and swimsuits on! We ate breakfast and supper at the onsite restaurant and had excellent meals both times. If you have a vehicle, there are restaurants and other stores a short drive away.

Cons:

The shower was a bit strange in that one wall was a glass sliding door that opened to the mirror image outdoor shower in the private gated area. You just have to tell your family that you are showering or shower in your swimsuit as there is not good privacy otherwise. We did not really have hot water in the shower but our familiy members did in the room next door.

Great for a relaxing vacation
Pros:

Beautiful and well maintained property. Very spacious, and comfortable room with a stunning view of the coconut tree dotted beach right in front of the suite. A long stretch of beach is exclusively owned by the hotel, so it is quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Restaurant is great too. We had the best meal here during our stay in Costa Rica.

Disappointed
Pros:

We have stayed at the hotel several times and enjoy it very much. Unfortunately, for our upcoming trip in February, I have emailed the hotel several times to confirm the not insubstantial deposits but have not received a response. I called several months ago and the clerk indicated that only the manager could respond. Needless to say, I have never heard from the manager. Perhaps the hotel will see this message and respond.

Pros:

The staff was amazing. Freddy remembered who we were every day and always took the time to come and chat with us and see how our day was going. We had a few issues with our room, but staff was prompt to fix any issues and were very accommodating. The property was gorgeous, and the spa was amazing. We all came out refreshed after our massages. The town is a great location to have some peace and quiet but is an easy drive away from many attractions. The beach was perfect to relax on.

Cons:

There were a lot of spiders throughout the property.

Right by the beach, good food and drinks

Cons:

Bed uncomfortable, the TV and hot water weren't working when we arrived though both were fixed promptly after we mentioned it. Shower head was very unclean.
