Beautiful views
As amazing as the place is, it's not very suitable for a solo traveller. Much more appropriate for a group, family, or couples

Everything was amazing. Don’t have a bad word to say about anything. The facilities were great, the view was great, the location was great….we had a ball 😁
Where do I even begin? Trude and John were phenomenal hosts. They are flexible, kind and accommodating. They welcomed me into their home, offered me coffee and homemade cake and shared beautiful life stories with me that I will cherish forever. The cottage is situated on stunning grounds with breathtaking views of Bethells Beach. The cottage had everything I needed and more. And it was spotless. I even got to witness a hilocopter wedding on the premises, which was a huge treat! I really made myself at home and Trude and John made that very easy. My stay there was a lifetime experience that I will never forget.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit sehr köstlichem selbstgebackenen Kuchen beschenkt. Am ersten Abend gab es frische Pizza aus dem Holzofen. Trude und John sind sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber und haben uns Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Ein unbeschreiblich schöner und einzigartiger Ort.
I absolutely loved my stay at this property. It had everything we needed plus one of the best views of Bethel's beach! It was paradise!
The view overlooking the sand dunes and beach is stunning. Private yet a shared communal area also and gardens and lawns, Quirky accommodation, loved the outdoor fire. Very relaxing plus make time to explore all around Bethells.
Great view!! Nice and cosy cottage with everything you need. The host,John, came down and introduced the surroundings to us. You can clearly see the Bethells beach and the sunset from the cottage. Fantastic stay!

Have wanted to stay at the Bethell's Cottages for many years now! It exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was gorgeous, so comfortable and well equipped, and the view could not be topped, and the host, John, could not have been more welcoming and gave me great tips on local spots to visit, gave me a guided tour down onto a lesser known part of the beach through a private track, and showed me the best spot to see the sunset. I genuinely didn't want to leave!
Genuinely can't fault my stay here - everything was amazing! For some perhaps the distance from places to buy food might be something to consider, and possibly the windy roads in to Bethell's Beach itself, but these are manageable easily and honestly just buy groceries on the way in and you won't need to leave to get food (because you won't want to!)
The location is amazing on the top of the hill overlooking the beach. Self contained quiet beach cottages. Beach is a ten minutes walk. I've stayed there several times down the years and love it.
Wifi works well in shared areas but struggles to reach the cottages. Cottage would benefit from some decluttering in terms of the magazines left for guests etc but they may just be personal preference.
