Cape Nidhra Hotel Hua Hin

We love, love love this hotel, we’ve stayed here 4 times now and fall in love with it even more each time. Christian the manager is amazing very warm and welcoming a true credit to the hotel. The staff are brilliant every single one of them from the security, house keeping, front of house, restaurant, the fantastic boys by the pool. It’s lovely recognising everyone when we go back honestly feels like home.
The rooms are lovely and large, with a fab pool on the balcony, showers are large with big bath as well. Rooms are well kept and maintained.
Breakfast: was delicious every morning, service was great.
Pool is a good size with lots of loungers.
Location is fab walking distance to the night market and market hall shopping mall. A short tuk tuk ride to Cicarda market.
We can’t wait to go back again next year.

Had lovely time and would recommend staying at this hotel.Great location little paradise. All the staff are so friendly and professional big shout out to Phimol and Dao at the Rocks restaurant. Also got to mention Chris and restored the pool staff.And all reception staff are lovely.Bee hua Hin four times and stayed in all the top hotels but this step above from rooms to service and Ambience. We stayed here for 4 nights, as part of our anniversary celebration, after staying in Bangkok. The hotel is intimate and is a hidden gem off of the main road. The rooms are stunning and well designed. We stayed in room 314 which is a garden pool suite. The hotel surprised us with a cake, which was delicious and a very nice touch. The sea comes right up to the edge of the property, so we weren't able to walk along the beach during our stay. All the staff are lovely and welcoming, we loved the security guard. He was very helpful and funny. At breakfast there is plenty of choice. We also ate dinner at the hotel a couple of times, and it was delicious. The hotel is down the road from the Market Village, a large shopping centre with an excellent Thai food market in the basement that is excellent value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

99% Of the hotel was absolutely spot on. The pool was beautiful, as was the view, the rooms are huge, and we had a plunge pool which was great. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We did a private dinner on the beach and it was absolutely amazing. So we'll looked after and delicious food. Breakfasts were super tasty with lots of choice.

Only downside to this hotel was that the beds are so hard, it was like sleeping on concrete. But otherwise it was just perfect.

Also just to know about the area, we didn't feel comfortable swimming in the sea as there were alot of jellyfish. But some people were swimming so I guess this depends on personal preference.

This was our third visit as we absolutely love this hotel and we received a very warm welcome from all staff.
Reception staff are very efficient and helpful. So are the staff who work in housekeeping, restaurant, and the pool boys.
The location is excellent. The rooms are superb. We have stayed in many 5 star properties but for us none are as good as Cape Nidhra. Breakfast was very good and plenty to choose from even some sparkling wine on some mornings. The pool area is so relaxing. There are sunbeds around the pool or in the garden area and a few on the beach itself.
Thank you so much for making our stay and my birthday so memorable. I was truly spoilt with bubbly and cake.
We will definitely return to Cape Nidhra.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cape Nidhra. Just book it you will not be disappointed.

Miss Muay has us check-in and escort to the room 155. She fully explain the room function with courtesey manner.

We experience some room malfunction on pur day 2. First thing she asked is if i get any injured. Miss Muay came to our room right away and offer the new upgraded room. She truely express her worries and try her best tp cpmfort and ensure we hv a great moment at hotel in her power.
From then all staff on the premise know that we had a hiccup in the 1st day experience and upon their greeting, they all ask if i am ok ir not (all staff will stop and say hello to you every time they see you, gardener, security, chef,etc .. ).

Upon check-out, a free chocolate, hotel playlist were handed with courtsey and friendly manner which makes our stays even more meaningful. Love the staff!

Room : spacious, pool included, incredibly comfy and huge bed, bathroom is spacious.

I'm not a carbo fan but love it here! Tgey also hv spatkling wine served for free

Happy hour : nice quiet roof top. Drinks are great. I like the Amphawa one, refreshing!

Guests are mostly westerner and some thai. They are all great, no noise, no bothering. Peaceful!

Spa: Good staff! Aroma massage 1 hr. Is relaxing 1800++ which is good price comparing to other 5 stars

Fitness: 2 threadmil, 1 eliptical , 2 bike, some weight lifting. Not busy during day time.

Hotel: total space is small but hv everything Fitness, resto, reading room, spa

The good:
the room, lovely with a nice bed and a lovely large bathroom, however the the toilet solution is not for the shy. The balcony has a nice plunge pool and a day bed. The terrasse with sun loungers on the uppfloor was used every afternoon.
The location. Central to almost everything
The staff. Lovely each and everyone!!! Actually the staff was the best about the resort.
Pool area. Albeit a bit small was very good with a good amount of sunloungers but pick you spot with care.
The bar. Lovely view over he pool area and good drinks and an ok wine list.
The bad.
Lots of maintance and repairs are due. Much of the woooden decking need repair like on the walkway from reception down to the pool and the sun loungers are getting tired, however they a vet comfortable nice mattresses.
The Gym. Not bad with an ok range of equipment but getting tired and some of it need repairs or an overhaul.
Breakfast. At the best average. Has some variation each day but of average quality. The bacon, both the crispy and the soft is a joke. The fruit station however very good with ripe mango every morning.

Be aware that the hotel is located on a very narrow plot with 250-300 walk from reception to the restaurant/Bar/Poolarea.

The restaurant is not especially nice more like a schoolcantine.

We have been to Hua Hin several times and stayed at most of the 5-star hotels there. We really looked forward to stay at Cape Nidhra based on the reviews and website photos(which are cleverly taken). However this was a bit disappointing for us. All in all good but we would not stay there again.

Everything was fabulous at this hotel especially the food in the restaurant. Room was huge with fabulous bathroom and was spotlessly clean. Internet very good and the room overall was very comfortable. Staff were so kind and helpful.

Hotel is superb, Rooms are lovely, Staff are brilliant , They can’t be more helpful breakfast buffet was so good, A special thanks to Pry in the Rocks bar for our Long Island ice teas , Also Chris round the pool , The security guards on the gate even help you to cross the busy road.The Hotel is very Central for Hua hin town center and all the amenities we will be returning many thanks to you all .

The hotel is simply fabulous, the previous reviews have all set high expectations but Cape Nidhra met all of them and then some. Location is great, an easy 5 - 10 min walk to bars and restaurants. The room was fantastic, I'd requested high floor and that was granted, the pool was a blessing in the heat, we often came back from a night out and it was very refreshing. Our room was kept in tip top condition by the cleaning staff, everything was perfectly catered for. The pool and beach area is fantastic, outstanding service from the staff there. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and met with lovely smiling faces each morning. The entire hotel is spotless, every single member of staff that we met is a credit to the hotel, from the brilliant security guards, the reception, waiting staff, spa, housekeeping and grounds people. We had a couple of drinks at On the Rocks and it's a beautiful space with excellent service. I cannot recommend Cape Nidhra highly enough, we will 100% be staying here again when we are back in Hua Hin. Thank you for a fantastic break.

I’ve been to 77 countries and stayed at countless hotels, but Cape Nidhra is truly a top-class experience. We stayed for 10 days in a Garden Pool Suite, and it exceeded our high expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, extra credit to Sub, Chris, and Add, but honestly, everyone was outstanding. The General Manager, Christoffer, has done a fantastic job. The security staff and cleaners were excellent as well.

I especially appreciated the older gentleman with a disability who worked so hard to keep the paths spotless, it really stood out to us. The breakfast and drinks were delicious. The beach was much better than we expected, with small, inexpensive beach restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away, head to the right when you reach the beach from the hotel.

I also recommend using the hotel transfer service to and from Bangkok Airport, the cars are comfortable, and the drivers are excellent.
For massage, try Infinity Massage. Walk left when leaving the hotel from the street side. Clean, professional and top class. Just a few minutes walk.

A true five-star experience, thank you all at Cape Nidhra for giving us such an amazing stay.

I’ve had the opportunity to stay at this hotel several times, but this is the first time I’ve had a chance to write a review.

The hotel is very peaceful and quiet — a perfect place to relax. If you’re looking for a getaway, this is definitely a great option.

The staff are lovely and friendly. Everywhere I walked, I was greeted with warm smiles and polite hellos.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from.

One of my favorite things here is the breakfast — there’s such a great selection of both Thai and international food. Everything is fresh and tasty.

The overall atmosphere is wonderful. The swimming pool is located right by the sea, so you can enjoy the water while taking in the ocean view — it’s truly relaxing and joyful.

The hotel is located in Hua Hin province, only about 2 to 3 hours’ drive from Bangkok.

I really love this place, and I’ll definitely come back again if I have the chance.

staff fantastic but a five star hotel there where faults first air conditioning once left puddle in bathroom where nearly slipped in it second controlled not working slept in a sweatbox in morning tried to contact manager nobody available, our room had its own plunge pool but was so chlorinated even after several showers still smelt like a pool and couldn't use it in the day time as had contractual work going on two floors below drills and banging, yes small gripes but when you pay the money they order you should have perfection and you don't get that. Now the important part would i stay again NO is the answer, Maybe might get the manager to answer this time...

A beautiful hotel with friendly, attentive staff! The hotel is relatively small with a large team of staff. The rooms are well appointed with private pools of varying sizes. The main swimming pool is Beach front with access. The bar was quiet but had a beautiful view and the restaurant had a varied selection and they were happy to accommodate 3 vegetarians.

There is also a very reasonably priced spa where we had an excellent Thai massage.
We had 2 celebrations whilst we were staying at the hotel and we were surprised to receive complimentary cakes to our rooms to assist in the celebrations - a very nice touch much apreciated.

Thank you to all the staff for their warm, friendly welcome and a special mention to Ad who was our translator on our cookery course and a very welcoming member of staff in the restaurant.

REMARKABLE STAFF, TRUE MANAGEMENT
Our first impression of Cape Nidhra hotel was one of kindness and of staff who were the most helpful and always went the extra mile to be of service. Initially,we thought this attitude was one of routine and that it would not last.However, after a few days we realised that their ethos of service is the result of excellent training, dedication, respect for the job and commitment.
We have travelled the world for more than 30 years and would very confidently state that from reception through room service,restaurant staff and pool attendance nothing has been too much trouble for the employees at this hotel. At Cape Nidhra there is an air of peace and tranquility. As a blind traveller, I felt as safe and secure here as in many of the top rated hotels in the world. This hotel was established 15 years ago and could by now have declined with age, but the standards of cleanliness and customer service make it in our opinion the place to stay in Hua Hin. There will be no doubt as to our return in future years. We can't prize enough the staff professionalism, their attention to detail, their sense of reasponsability and respect for the job.We shall mention here Phimol, the lady in charge in the morning restaurant, Chris- the pool coordinator, who was there for us any time we needed, the room maids Fah and Oh, the receptionists Julie and Bonus and male assistants Sakon and Nut. Lastly, I would congratulate the manager, although I've never met him, my highest compliments to the way he runs this establishment like a Swiss watch, precise, discreet and accurate. We will come back here with joy, knowing we are protected, helped and respected.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. This is our second visit, the last being 8 years ago. I was concerned that it may not be how I remembered it. How wrong I was. It’s just same. Fantastic service from the Manager and all of his wonderful employees. I cannot stress how lovely all of them are.

The hotel is so tranquil, on a beautiful part of the beach, has a stunning pool but only a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants of Hua Hin.

The Manager holds a weekly cocktail evening which is a great way to chat to other guests. They have a weekly BBQ evening and the breakfasts have everything you could possibly ask for.

Stayed for 5 nights in March and the hotel is absolutely amazing.
The rooms are the best standard i have seen in hotel full stop and the grounds and pool area are a haven of peace and tranquility.
Perfectly located on the beach and for walking into town staying at this hotel if you visit Hua Hin is a must !
