Hotel San Giorgio

Perfekt läge, stora rum, sköna sängar, rent och snyggt även om hotellet har några år på nacken, och mycket trevlig personal. Badrummet var i minsta laget och vi hade gärna haft ett litet kylskåp i rummet.

Basic room, but clean and Comfy. Bathroom also very small, but shower is very good. A great option for a short stay, centrally located, with plenty of dining options nearby,
and a supermarket 3 minutes away

Vi bodde på San Giorgio Hotel 16–18 september och är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse. Incheckningen gick smidigt och personalen var otroligt hjälpsam. Rummet var standardmässigt men rent, tyst och rymligt. En liten enkel frukost erbjöds utan extra kostnad, vilket var ett trevligt plus. Hotellets läge är fantastiskt – mitt i centrum och bara fem minuter från de två tornen. Absolut prisvärt, särskilt med tanke på den utmärkta servicen. Ett extra tack till receptionspersonalen som hjälpte oss med frågor kring ZTL, parkering och att förvara bagage efter utcheckning.

10 minuter från Bologna central och 10 minuter till Maggiori. Enkelt hotell men mycket trevlig personal. Rent och fint. Bra wifi, bra AC och enormt tyst tack vare nya fönster. Perfekt om du bara vill sova gott eftersom man ogärna vill tillbringa sin tid i Bologna på ett hotellrum utan ute på stan.

Utrolig venligt personale. Eneste minus var, at der ikke var køleskab på værelset, ellers var det en utrolig god oplevelse. Kommer gerne igen.

I booked Hotel San Giorgio for my parents during their stay in Bologna, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The reception was warm and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make everything smooth. The hotel itself has been recently renovated, which gives it a fresh and comfortable feel, and the location is central—close to everything worth seeing in the city.

Breakfast was simple but very good, with quality coffee and croissants. The staff were helpful throughout the stay, not only allowing my parents to keep their luggage at the hotel until the evening but also arranging a taxi and giving them clear directions around the city. These small details made a big difference.

Bologna itself is lively, full of students, friendly people, and an international atmosphere. There is no shortage of places to eat and plenty to explore within walking distance. For anyone visiting Bologna, I can recommend Hotel San Giorgio without hesitation—it is one of the best options in the city, both for comfort and for service.

Small rooms and even smaller bathroom but clean, light, and good air con. Location excellent for the central city and the university. Staff friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay again!

Excellent location, clean room!!

Very walkable hotel in the old town of Bologna. We stayed here for its ease of walking to the train station. It is nice to be able to leave your key with the staff and pick it up after adventuring.

Very Friendly, helpfull staff. Always smiling. Great central location and an unexpected bonus of coffee and croissants provided in the morning. Tidy rooms and comfortable beds. Would definately recommend staying here if you are travlleing to Bologna. Only about a 20min walk from the Central staion and a few minutes from the main Piazza and other attractions
